I take offense to that. Us differently abled people that are VICTIMS of leg injury are tired of this blatant disrespect for our differences. Example
That's so tall when people do that.> That's so fat when people do that.> That's so brunette when people do that.> That's so rectal/crainial inverse when people do that.
Political correctness is not a result, it is a journey.;-)
The PowerPad was like Dance Dance Revolution, except in 1987. It shipped with a run-and-jump gamethat sucked called World Class Track Meet.
fixed that for you. The last thing I needed to know was how horribly out of shape I was/am and I was one of the few that actually tried to run and not get on my knees and slap the pad (which sounds fairly pornographic)
I'm also excited about bringing home SIX systems (NES/SNES/N64/Rev/Sega Genesis/TurboGrafx 16
fixed that for you, its getting bigger and bigger! I cant wait! WHEE! ***Disclaimer, The last nintendo device I bought was a GameBoy Color and before that SNES, but the Revolution looks so awesome I can't wait*** I also have had WAAAY to much coffee, I can't feel my arm
I was reading slashdot with my kids in the room, way to go editor, real damn funny, whats next, goatse or tubgirl with a link reading carebears or something?
As an Alabama resident, I may be able to refine a little here.
Nobody has any clue if violent games makes kids violent, or if violent kids like violent games; but it's politically unpopular to accuse your constituients' kids of being thugs
Jack Thompson is pretty popular judging from responses he got from a morning talk radio show from Birmingham when he was in town for the criminal trial, so that may play in. This is the "Bible belt", remember (not to start an arguement)
2: It's a mid-term Election year.
It is also a state election year, with the judge who threw Thompson out last time (Moore) running for governor. Raging debates about eminent domain (sp?), Yearly property tax re-evaluation, and a governor (Riley) who is likely the most corrupt, decietful republican there is (including Gee Dub). And the state D.A. (King) who will not do his job and give an opinion on the legality of actions from the state gov't. The entire state gov't is owned by Paul Hubbard, who is the head of the educators union (and I think is state suerintendant). This circus act draws issues from the governor's race and also has the potential to strengthen the educator agenda as well.
I personally think it is odd they are suing Walmart AND Gamespot. And I also apologise for my style of typing, as I am under the weather and at work.
This is due to the Wal-Mart influence on the market:
Wal-Mart:guys, your boxes are too big
Games Industry: So?
WM:Well we can't fit as much product on the shelves and you know how troublesome that is. Basically, if you dont change, we yank your stuff from the shelves
GI: *craps pants* yessir!
I like the smaller boxes, less wasted material and I don't have to devote a trash bag just to empty game boxes.
I know what you mean, the last thing you want to do when you get home is control someone walking around in a box and snapping necks. I mean screw that, neck breaking is some hard work. You may be interested in second life or the sims, which is basically the same as real life (work, sleep, eat, excrete) for normal civilians... *Whee!*
what kind of guy doesn't lock his computer when away from his desk? If I think about getting 5' from my desk for longer than 30 seconds, that puppy is locked. Simple computer precautions could have saved that poor sap his job. Then again I make more than $27k/yr in a call center in Alabama, so his standard of living might actually improve.
I don't know, time is still going on and I don't see the pop-tart you had for breakfast lasting longer than normal because you are hot-rodding through the universe. Plus I have yet to see reliable experimental proof that this theory is valid. It doesn't mean I don't think it could be right. I am just unfamiliar with any experiments that provide evidence to support. Any links would be appreciated.
heck, its on the favorites folder of all new network profiles, under "Industry News" I work for a cable provider owned by Paul Allen. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
You aren't a fanboy if you are right. The Half-Life series is an excellent product for any fan of FPS games. The story is very immersive and the visual effects are beautiful. The game won over 30 game of the year awards and earned it.
Combine the quality of the game with Valve's support of third party developers (the mod community) and the Steam delivery method and you have a game that is worth every penny you pay for it. I think I these episodes will definately end up on my steam account.
I missed the news report that told me how Iran had bombed major US cities... We invaded their lands and took over, not the other way around jackass.
You seem to be very passionate about your cause. So passionate, you don't let small things like facts get in your way. Iran has not been bombed, invaded, looted, or anything else by the United States. But I will forgive your ignorance, friend.
I do not agree with the WMD arguement Bush used to justify the attack in Iraq, but the fact is, Hussein was committing acts of genocide against his own people. We stepped in when Milosovec(sp?) was doing the same when Clinton in office. Just because the reason was "bad" doesnt mean the end result is. Iraq is growing stronger. People have rights unheard of prior to the American "interference". Women have rights to vote and opportunities to gain an education. Children don't have to worry about mom and dad being fed to the plastic shredders. National team athletes don't have to worry about torture for disgracing their country by not coming in first
I sincerely hope you someday learn to see the full picture instead of what your left wing friends feed you. You seem fairly intelligent, it would be a shame for you to not think for yourself.
Actually, at this time Americans are not required to carry identification unless operating a motor vehicle or in limited other situations (I believe hunting is one of these). We do, however have to truthfully identify ourselves to law enforcement. I am sure that the day of national ID is looming, but it is not upon us yet. After all, if you are not a criminal, you should have nothing to hide, right?
Exactly, that's so lame when people do that.
;-)

The sad thing, I would actually play that just to nail Toad with a steel chair
I'm also excited about bringing home SIX systems (NES/SNES/N64/Rev/Sega Genesis/TurboGrafx 16

Maybe you will change your mind after listening to Reason :-)
I'm scared, is this link SFW?
Looks like a beaver, and since the beaver is MIT's mascot, I'd find that more likely
LOL, Hitlers art did suck. Bob Ross could have prevented the Holocaust
This day of karma whoring will be fun when meta moderating times come. *psst...* thats insightful karma whore me please :o)
Happy birthday, sorry you are @ work

Screw your moonbase. I'm gonna make my own moonbase, with blackjack... and hookers...
...and spelling programming helps too ;)
and the other side of the hand, when surfing for Pr0n is needed. :o)

Thanks to everyone that posted, I now wish I kept better notes in physics :)
There's a risk, but's smaller than you'd think. There isn't a lot to bump into in interstellar space.
Still, only takes one thing to make a good flight real bad, real quick.
