  1. Just what are they no longer supporting? on Visual Basic Developers Revolt Against Microsoft · · Score: 1

When was the last time they release a critical update? MSDN hasn't been touched in years, seems like they only thing they are fighting is the marketing of "You're a VB programmer? but VB is at its EOL. What else do you know?" Both sides are stupid from what I see. VB6 lasts 10 years, so plan for 2002 to be retired in 2012, thats not even that far away. Tell me how 2002 and 2004 are the same but I need the 2002 to compile with 1.0 framework.

The artificial muscles could lead to prosthetics and other devices, he says. But for now they will just be useless toys that are completly not newsworthy unless you make some sort of stupid contest thats not really a contest at all.

God I hope /. repost's this one. This is the most exciting thing all week! This contracting material has been around for about 12 years now and has finally matured enough to lose to a girl in an arm wrestling match.

Home depot has some color cameras with IR nightvision, the IR is a little strong for sitting on top of the monitor might blast your face with light, or maybe the monitor gives off enough light that the camera wont use the IR. The color balance isn't that good but I bet you can tune it in pretty close in the capture card. I picked this one up for $50. Just a real nice camera for low light conditions (most home computers).

The whole article reeked with script kiddy. He blamed the "programmers" for seting up weak passwords. The programmers could be responsible for thier sofware to allow weak passwords, but he accuses them of being the ones who set the password. This makes him feel "more special" to think that he is getting around the programmers not guessing lame passwords. His traveling through the directory listings sounded exciting but he would never have gotten anywhere important if he didn't do the password game.
