The chicken came first of course, since evolution is a false science with no proof, and God created the universe and everything in it (chickens too), the chicken came first.
And you have proof that God creating the universe w/ chickens isn't "false science"?
If you respond quicky all the time, it becomes an expectation. "Send Sqweegee an e-mail, he's always quick to respond!" My suggestion is to not respond quickly.
I recieved an e-mail once from a VP saying he needed some data pulled for a meeting in 20 minutes. I didn't even read the thing until it was already an hour too late. He stops by my office now if he needs something done ASAP;)
Wheelchairs at least have WHEELS that ROLL and can have motorized assist. So if you have Doc Oct legs, next you need to haul a backup generator, or a strong guy to carry you when out of power...
Keep in mind, the picture shows a proof of concept. I would imagine a final version that goes to market would be a hybrid, having both legs and wheels. Where the wheels would be the primary because the legs would walk too slow and use up alot of battery. The legs would only be used for things like stairs and rough terrain.

Bubba: Whaddaya in fer? James: I made a public website that only worked for one OS and browser. Bubba: Huh? You sure do have a purdy mouth.
Covering 90+% of the browser market in a pinch isn't criminal. FEMA, like all goverment agencies, has a lot of red tape and EVERYTHING must be approved before it goes public. I am sure someone just decided to concentrate on IE first and do the other browsers later. Katrina refugee's would have bitched a lot more if they had to wait around for a web application to be tested to work on every OS and Browser.
I assumed lightgun like, but maybe I'm read it wrong Although it definately sounds like Red Steel uses some sort of controller motion detection. Would make since to me if you move it to the left, your target moves left.. but I dunno.
The game will take full advantage of the Revolution's unique motion-sensitive controller, along with the "nunchaku" attachment. Some ideas of the game that have been confirmed are the use of a katana and a gun. It has been confirmed that the game will be extremely immersive (e.g.: twisting the controller while handling the gun causes the gun to twist as well). Players can push objects to use them as cover by pushing the controller forward. Pulling the controller backwards reloads the gun. The player can also lob grenades in a more realistic fashion, with underhand or overhand, employing the controller as the thing being 'thrown'.
It would be hard to do if you use the large "A" button sits in the prime spot under your thumb on the face of the controller. However, I'm certain it uses the "B" trigger on the back of the unit for your index finger.
People are giving up on Redhat... I used their products from the 6.x days to 9.0... if I were to ever prefessionally recommend any Linux flavors, they'd be Gentoo and the free Redhat Enterprise clones (Whitebox, etc.).
if it's a chicken egg, then the chicken must have come first as only chickens can lay chicken eggs.
But then where did the chicken come from?
The chicken came first of course, since evolution is a false science with no proof, and God created the universe and everything in it (chickens too), the chicken came first.

My girlfriends sister told me that cable internet sucks, because it only works when the neighbors internet is on too.

The cow says... Moo!
5 mouse button? I hate those damn things. I always accidently press "back" when moving the mouse to the left.
nolock? Is that like a MS SQL Server thing? I've never seen/used a nolock in Oracle or MySQL.
I'm with you on the quick games. I like to play Madden on-line. A game takes about 45 minutes to complete. I can't get into those games like WoW.

For my company, I am the developer and the tester.
Email is like the weather, everyone complains about it, but no one does anything about it.
And even if someone did, noone would switch over to use it.

And I also here they have these strange, pictureless things made out of very thin strips of wood with some type of text printed on them
I heard about those. They say they're much better than DVD's. But I can't seem to find a player for one anywhere.
WTF? Why does everyone keep saying Smithycode. It's Smithcode. There's no is no Y in it. See for yourself!

And I'm still confused how anyone can play the shooters with a joystick, analog or not. It just doesn't feel right without a mouse for free-look.
Agreed. Mouse is much better than joystick for FPS any day. Although, I am curious about the light gun style FPS's for the revolution.
One word. Football

I called this back when Redhat dropped its free desktop Linux.
If the linux hackers arn't using it at home, they won't bring it into work.
I remember back in the day when being a nerd was a bad thing. Now people argue about who is the nerdiest. Wow.
