I am really split here on how I should feel. First I think the time travel stuff was crap but I liked the crew. So how about a do over. Start the show at the being again. Lets not let Scott Bakula go to waste. But who knows some how Andromeda got saved mabey the Scifi network will pick up this show also.
I bet it is only a matter of time before these things are as good or better then the real thing. Do you think we will ever reach a time where the only way they will let you out of the army is if you die or finish your time? So that a loss of limb might only mean a quick stay at an army hospital and right back to combat.
I don't see why freenet is such a great way to serve up torrents. When you run the torrents they can still find you the only diffrence between this and how something like emule works is you have to use freenet. Might as well just have the clients also host the torrent and you just search the client.
mapping software would cause the same result if everyone used it at the same time, you can see the same result when you hear on the radio there is an accident up ahead of you on a road and they suggest an alternate route to avoid the traffic but when you take it there is a traffic jam there. That is because everyone who was lisening to the same radio as you too the short cut.
I think you fail to see the problem in this. If there was something that good it would be like the IPod for cars. Then everyone is using it but they are all rerouting because they think each other is going the other direction. What is really needed is some sort of automated transportation like in Minority Report where the cars drive together so a central place and regulate traffic. But I say do it anyway because as long as I go the normal way by the time i get there all you with your fancy maps will stuck in a traffic jam of your own creation.

Note to Self: hook up doom day weapon to up the phone incase i get caught. Also remember to install the death laser on the roomba.
In the short term I guess using the IBM and Thinkpad name will help them out but in the long term they aren't going to do very well if they don't get people to remember their name with the IBM quality.
On a side note I hope that IBM really does merge with Apple because after this deal I think I am not going to get another Thinkpad and start buying Powerbooks instead.
Because one is for commercial gain the other has to do with being able to express your political views. It is the same reason you can restrict cigaret ads from television.

I have never heard of xbox's breaking but I have heard a whole lot of horror stories about ps2's just dieing and i just got that first hand. I haden't played my playstaion 2 in a while and I saw GTA: San Andreas was out so I bought it only to turn on my playstation 2 to see squiggly black lines. Now I got a game that I can't play (and a bunch of others) and a playstation 2 that i can only hear sound on. Oh and it works some times but it suddenly reboots. Consoles suck, I wish these companies would test these things more instead of rushing them out the door to beat the other guys.
ps. if you know what is wrong with my ps2 and how to fix it please inform me, i don't want to shell out another $150 for a ps 2 that will be replaced fairly soon with newer consoles
