  1. Boondock Saints is a great movie on What's Your Favorite Underappreciated Movie? · · Score: 1

The action isn't exactly John Woo style artistry, but that is because it is treated with a degree of humor, which is befitting of the movie, because it is hilarious.

I haven't played the fourth, but it does sound terrible. 3D for the sake of 3D is really useless, but I honestly think that they could put out a 5th monkey Island in 2D and be very successful, after all this would let more people with older systems play the game and could help lower developement costs. With a game like monkey Island it isnt about evolving the graphics, or the gameplay, it's more important to further the storyline and keep the games humor.

I don't know about anyone else, but I thought that the Monkey Island series was just great because it was absolutly hilarious.

Also, the first monkey island game came with that crazy pirate face decoder, which anoyed the living daylights out of me because I constantly misplaced it and couldn't play (although it too added to the general hilarity of the game).

Finally, I wonder if anyone else has fond memories of prince of persia, because for the longest time that was the best game available to us poor mac users.

If a task requires less sacrifice people view it with less respect.

Just because he's a savvy buisnessman as well as a philanthropist does not make him evil. Because of his donation, the program almost certainly has more money now than it would have ever recieved otherwise.

Also, all of the large amounts of giving you ever hear about are also cases of conditional giving, the condition being that the giver recieve some sort of recognition for his or her giving, be it having their name mentioned in association with the gift, or having a building named after them. The only giving you can truely be uncritical of is Anonymous giving and in that case we wouldnt even be having this discussion.

Also, Bill Gates' gift of 100 million to fight AIDS in no way comes back to his pocket, so certainly you can't qualify all of his giving as evil, even by your twisted standards.

While a cloning machine might work very well with physical things, such as cars or food, ect. When it comes to intellectual property, if you allow people to clone it for free, your neighbor for example, you are not only hurting the company, you are hurting yourself in the long run. By allowing people to copy that property, you take money from the pockets of the artists who produce it, and if they are unable to support themselves by making their art (music, movies, etc) then they are better off finding another job. Once they quit their jobs as artists you wont have any new art to enjoy, and isnt it funny how much we appreciate new art and we take it for granted that it will be produced? If you believe I'm being unreasonable, look at Russia. Before it bacame a communist state, it had one of the richest cultures in the world and had many artists which produced beutiful works of art. But once Russia became a communist state, all motivation to produce was taken away and very, very little came out of communist Russia as a result. Is that what you want? This is why it IS COOL that these companies/artists do have an inherent right to exist.
