    In reply to the parent...

I recieved a ps2 for xmas the first year it was released. After boxing day went out and bout a second controller, memory cards and the dvd remote. But then nothing... All the games sucked there was not a single sony game (new or old) that matched the n64s killer apps like Goldeneye, Zelda, Diddy Kong Racing, that demolition one etc etc.. I tried playing a few old ps1 games like Final Fantasy but of course they were scratched on the second disk or so making it impossible to play.

So I never bought a game for my ps2. If my friends came around we watched a DVD on it (maybe) or more likely we played Perfect Dark or Super Smash Bros.

But then GTA3 came out... and it almost got me to finally buy a game, luckily my friend lent it to me so i played and played till it got boring... only so many times you can shoot down helicopters... But then I decided that after owning the console for 2 years and only ever liking one game enough to buy it that it was the end of the road and I sold it on ebay.

GTA3 is definately the best game sony has... but its not worth buying a ps2 when compared to halo or the multitude of PC games... even Gamecube Smash Bros is better.

And I'm quite sure I'd prefer playing nintendo games on my nokia 3650 to shelling out for a PSP. GTA3 or no.

Morally? The morality here is pretty complicated but I don't see how uploading could be imoral but downloading not. The real question to me (and the courts) is the legality. In a simple electronic upload/download transfer, where and when does the illegal copy happen?

When you upload in Bit Torrent its highly unlikely that you would upload the entire file to someone (unless seeding) most of the time you would only send small chunks of files... could this potentially allow you to claim fair use? As you are only really sending other people "samples"...
