I completely agree. I actually started liking the original opening theme song. But then they changed it and it feels like they slowed down an already slow theme song. I just can't get used to it. I kept up hope that they would change it in season 4 again, but they didn't.
The problem is that UPN just doesn't reach many households. I *can't* get it unless I switch from satellite to cable.
Not sure about DirecTV, but I get it with Dish Network. Of course, I pay a little extra for the national UPN channels. Some areas you can get the local channels for free on your satellite and get UPN that way too.
Guess it depends on your point of view. I knew RE4 for the PS2 was released later than GC, but when it is announced that a game is going to be on different systems it no longer seems exclusive to me. Personally, I am waiting for the X-Box version of San Andreas because I knew it was coming out for it as well. If that wasn't announced I would have bought it for the PS2 like I did the previous ones.
When I mention Resident Evil 4, and that it's Gamecube exclusive, most Xbox and PS2 owners become very surprised.
You're right. I am surprised. I'm surprised you haven't heard that Resident Evil 4 isn't a Gamecube exclusive any longer. It will also be coming out for the PS2.
Season 3: A weapon is being launched at Earth to destroy it. Archer must go into this dangerous part of space that no one has ever returned from to stop it. Yes, this took a whole season.
Season 4: Finally back to normal episodes and some interesting ones at that. You should start watching it here again. Brent Spiner is in a 3 episode arc, Episodes on Vulcan, etc.
I thought it was bad at first too, then I slightly (very slightly) liked it. Then they changed the music and made it even worse!!! Honestly the music for the ending credits would have been a MUCH better choice!
True, yes. But I did love the one where Q forced the Enterprise to meet the Borg before they were ready. He had some good episodes in there, but not nearly as many as the later seasons.
Except the Playstation 3 will run Blu-ray discs. So the people that are planning to get a PS3 already might take this into consideration. I know I will. The PS3 will surely be sub $500 in price.
The PSP isn't using Blu-Ray discs, movies will be tied to the proprietary UMD disc format. The only way I'll be playing movies on the PSP is by converting my DVDs onto burnable UMD discs, otherwise forget it. I'm not buying movies twice just to make them portable.

I agree, my grandmother was heavy into genealogy. She had hundreds of pages of neatly hand written, non-cursive documents. I tried to scan them with many different OCR programs, but none even came close to deciphering the text without skewing it badly. I tried ABBYY, Omnipage Pro 14, and a few others. Anyone have any successes with this kind of thing?
A better analogy with death and 1/6 odds might be a traditional game of "russian roulette".
Not really, with russian roulette you will die for sure after 6 pulls of the trigger, each time decreasing your odds. With dice it is possible you could roll the dice 1000 times without rolling a 1, just extremely unlikely. Still, a lot of people live to an old age without dying in car accidents now. I'm sure plenty would still, but eventually something is going to get you. Unless we find a way to backup our brains.
I personally liked some of their cartoons they had back in the day. Captain N, for example. I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't gotten back into this again. Watching some of the old Zelda cartoons now is kind of painful, but I bet they could come up with something good.
I didn't notice this issue, but I did notice one weird thing with mine. When I have the volume up all the way it interferes with the actual display on the LCDs. It gets a little wavy.
Even as we lay deadly waste to this world, species evolve to overcome it. The problem is that the longer a species takes to procreate, the slower evolution goes as well. This article shows that a lifeform that once couldn't live in toxic waste adapted. They didn't change to a new species, but it is interesting none the less.
Mine had one dead pixel on BOTH screens. Luckily, I took it back to the store and got an exchange. They were a little hesitant to replace it for that, but they did.
I have to disagree as well. The playstation 3 is going to be using blu-ray technology. You still don't think we will be hearing about blu-ray disc rentals??? Along with that I'm sure we will start seeing HD movies in the next few years. Even if people don't get a new DVD player I bet Sony is going to put on in the PS3, which will probably catch on faster anyway. DVD video is good, but not great. Bigger TVs and projectors are down to consumer level pricing.
Thank you! But your jailcell is in another castle.

Plus they are saying one of the coming episodes this season will actually explain the different Klingon versions! Not sure how that hits me yet.

Sure we've seen it happen. In fact we have caused it with all our pollution...

If your time is so valuable, why did you click through the story, and spend the time to post a rant about it?
;)
Because he's at work getting paid to do it.

Or perhaps you shouldn't...

ah, sorry. You are right. Just never caught that before.

At least we are getting a new Mario platformer for the DS (not Mario 64.) I can't wait, it's been far too long.

And don't forget the Power Glove, it's sooo bad.

Replace the LCD screen in the device. I believe that is the only way.
