"Perhaps it's because 3 black dudes doing an Asian chick at the same time and dropping their loads in her eye might give the wrong impression of what it's all about"
How can that be racist? He's just describing what he saw on DVD last night... Describing reality isn't racist. Walk over to the old Bukkake section in your porn store.. and you'll see he's describing about 70% of bukkake films.
I'm sure the poster was trying to illustrate how Bukkake is not a normal form of sex.. It had nothing to do with black dudes.. He is just describing the genre.
Damn people are sure quick to condemn porn, and even more likely to scream racist when the word Black is spoken... A symptom, perhaps, of the same under-laying mental flaw;)
My personal opinion: As long as everyone's having a good time, is old enough to give consent in the country of production and consumption, and no one is being hurt, I couldn't care what you watch on your TV/Computer in the privacy of your own home.
No, I'm not a supporter. Mengele experimented on Humans.
Sheep with human organs, and mostly sheep brains don't bother me at all. Different league.
There's a lot of scientific value in creating something like, say, a human Broca's area in a sheep brain. It can teach us a lot, with no worry of a sheep becomming human.
Human brains in sheep? Now that's just plain *COOL* Hacking the genes.. loads of fun!
I don't know why so many people get upset about this kind of thing.. I mean, if my mom had something like CJD from eating euro-beef 10 years ago, and you could sacrifice a legion of humo-sheep hybrid brains to save her.. Sacrifice away! Myself, I have a damaged heart.. if I could have a new one, I'd kill any number of chimera sheep to get it. I want to watch my boy grow up, not die at 35. Oh, and you go tell that hypotetical burn victim why he'll be deformed for the rest of his life, because he can't have the artificial skin developed from chimera sheep in Qwai Pong Province china, because his narrow minded government doesn't think it's ethical.
In the balance of life, they're sheep. Who cares? Grow them in vats for all I care. As long as this is all done in a clean room environment, so we can minimize the risk of having superbug's crossing the sheep human barrier...
If you uncheck both Client for Microsoft Networks and File and Printer Sharing, in your network adapter properties.. you'll be able to surf pretty safe from infection.
That'll turn off all the NetBIOS stuff.. the only thing you should have checked in your network settings before you go online, should be TCP/IP
Scary that the new models have the moaning option.. with sensors in all the appropriate nasty places;) Only problem I see with it.. is the ethernet cable that comes out of her head, back to your computer, that holds 1000's of.wav files..
Actually.. while on the subject of Real Dolls.. heheh.. you've got to read this article.. it's HILARIOUS.. the dude from Nerve.Com decided to experience one.
Nice Accesspoints, or roll your own with their software. Cool Features:
Wireless BackHaul on a different network Automatic Routing Easy Setup Access Control if you like through a captive proxy.
All you really need are some junky laptops.. one 802.11b (for the users to access) and one 802.11g for the high speed backhaul. Each node automatically integrates into the mesh.. very cool... can be done VERY cheap.
"It will be the biggest, the most drastic, and the most comprehensive change to the underlying structure of the Internet in more than 20 years. "
I'd love that thought applied to space.. It's so confusing, and hard to do, we should tuck our tail between our legs and run! This change will happen one router at a time.. correct me if I'm wrong.. but I do believe IPv4 addresses will coexist with IPv6. And lets face it.. for the most part, this will be done my highly experienced techs at the ISPs, and filter down to very experienced end users at business. Dialup and High Speed users could use IPv4 for ages sitting behind their ISP's big gateways.
"The deployment of IPv6--the sixth version of the Internet Protocol--will be a massive undertaking that will require the reconfiguration of more than 100 million computers."
It's not like this will happen over night.. and one day all the end users (hi mom) will have to become IPv6 Gurus. Once again, we're back to.. It's hard.. lets run away.
"But when the IPv6 rollout is finally done, not all the effects will be positive"
Argh.. this guy bugs me.. He seems to totally forget about the evolution of software.. Of course it'll be slow at the beginning.. then some company like Nortel will put it all into a hightech ASIC chip.. and we'll leave IPv4 in the dust. For each of his arguements.. there's a swell counter arguement, that's never far from reach.
I can think of two things to do that are pretty easy.
1) Post notices on the entrance to the dorms with step by step instructions. Point them to free tools to clean their machines from www.SARC.com. Give them the exact URL! Same for the URL to the patch. Put these on tear off strips at the bottom of your notice. Most times, telling people there's a problem with infection is all it takes to make them aware they need to do something. Having the information at easy reach is the best way to get them to do it.
If it's hard, they won't do it. If it takes work to find, they won't do it.
2) Have your underlings march out to the offender and fix the problem. I don't know about you, but our university had WAY more volunteer help than we could use, just so they could put down computer department on their resume's. When an infection that causes a lot of traffic resurfaces, have your volunteer geeks re-walk the dorms.
There doesn't always have to be a technical solution. Sometimes, meat space works.
If you get someone that won't willingly comply after being asked nicely... physically remove their connection at the patch panel, they're too stupid and inconsiderate to use the net;) Hehehhehe
Ya know VxWorks, that amazing Real Time O/S? I think it could possibly incorporates a lot of Unix code.. I mean, it's less of a stretch to VxWorks, than it is to Linux. Does anyone have any ideas if SCO *could* go after Vxworks? If they do.. Nortel Networks should run scared, most of those PBX's run VxWorks. Their IP phone stuff also uses VxWorks.
I suppose the best way around that would be to publicize the your private key so EVERYONE could use the channel. Then very little of what you do could be attributed to you:)
Hell, I could create a WAREZ channel, and only publish freeware.. but if everyone else had my private key, I'm sure the channel would host a LOT of warez before the day was done:)
At work, we run all our voip traffic over an IPSec VPN. We use Nortel Internet Telephony Gateways for Line Sets, and i2004 phones at the remote offices.
Scary thing is.. when the phone guys were planning it.. they just wanted to expose the ITG Card to the internet to make the phones work!!! Good thing The Data Guy (me) stepped in and demanded all traffic run over VPN's to prevent getting hacked.
When I explained it to them, they had a lightbulb moment. So, companies, beware of the telecom folks you have install your networks.. a lot of the sector isn't ready for convergence. And only a handful of us have a data *AND* voice team.
There you'll find a scalable open source softpbx that's scalable to the 5000 phone range. It's got Cisco research dollars pouring into it, and it's currently free. They have a soft client too! This thing has billing modules, h323 compatibility gateways.. Works with Cisco's VERY cool sip phones:)
It really is aimed at the carrier type people.. but hell..it's pretty easy to get it all running on a P2-450:)
Yes.. the ending may suck.. but I found the journey to be pretty trippy:)
See, now I find the trip in GTA3 to pretty good.. but almost always the same.. drive around.. kill kill.. drive around.. kill some more.. Drive around.. splatter a few bums... splatter some more cops.. kill some FBI..
And while that's great.. when you compare it to alice.. where almost every room was something new....
...that the headline should be:

Blaine the plane is a pain...

Typical American Ethno-Centric viewpoint.
We'll *HAVE* to move to IPv6 when the third world finally gets connected! China 1+ billion people.. India 1+ billion people.. it starts to add up!
Americans.. a whole world exists outside of your borders you know.

Pfft. Blowing stuff up got me in to science in a big way. Ya can't beat blowing stuff up.

If girls liked blowing things up.. maybe they'd be better at science.
Science in a lot of ways is about harnessing energy to do work. Not cooking class.. We have Home Economics for that

The LS120.. a 120meg Floppy disk.. the drives are backwards compatible with the 720k, 1.44meg, 2.88meg standards.
It's only about 50 bux Canadian... if they were sold in quantity.. I'm sure we'd get down to the 15$ Canadian that a normal floppy goes for.
120meg is a perfect size for today and tomorrow's needs in quick, cheap, EASY removable storage.
Lets face it.. even the brain dead can use a floppy!
