    I wonder if anyone has ever suggested that Edubuntu block sites that you wouldn't want a kid to see. That could be a killer-app in itself. The geek's touch could be better than any commercial content-blocking. And do kids really need 4 virtual desktops?

    The ads are truly the worst I've ever seen, and I don't ever go to Myspace. So how do I know? My friend was over at my house on his laptop when I heard a Vonage commercial. So I says to the guy, I says I says: "What the fuck are you listenening to? A commercial?" and he replies, "No, I'm on Myspace."

    I saw this on the Fox 11 morning news, and there were 3 things to note:

    1. One woman said "He was hacking into the internet..."

    2. One 50 year old anchor guy said "This is not a cool dude", even more rofles.

    3. Their file footage of Paris Hilton was of her in a float of a car in a parade waving to people. Why the fuck was she in a parade and why were people happy to see her?!

    Intelligent Design does not necessarily mean that we were created by a God or have anything to do with religion. It could also mean that we were created by intelligent alien beings. There is some "religion" that believes that this is the case, wouldn't it be fair to have them be mentioned in schools as well?

    (I don't think intelligent design should be taught in school)

    Of course digital music players are 'sold for the purpose of copying music', you HAVE to copy music to it to play the music, whether it was obtained legally or not. You don't go to the store and buy a new hard drive with music for your player or MOVE your music to your portable player, do you?

    Actually, cheaters caught on VAC servers are banned for 1 year, not life. So they could buy another account, and then in a year give one to a friend I suppose.

    That being said, I've seen a good number of cheaters in VAC servers. I went to the steam forums to find out what to do (since they refuse do anything about cheaters on non-vac servers). They say to tell the server admin. I'm about to become a server admin again and I don't know what to do about cheaters.

    I'm still angered over the lawsuit against 321 Studios that forced them out of business. I watched a report on G4 or something, where they explained everything and did interviews, and it was the interviews that pissed me off the most:

    DVD X Copy lady: "Our software lets people make backups of movies that they have already bought."

    MPAA guy: "Making a copy of a DVD that you bought is OK, that's fair use. What's not OK is when someone shares that DVD with a thousand of his closest friends."

    I'm paraphrasing, but after hearing that I headbutted the wall.
