Sometimes I'll click on those links to "update my eBay" account and give them fake info for shiats and giggles. For example, supplying Bill Gates and a Visa card with a fake bank number.
..on Gmail:
"G is for growth
Storage is an important part of email, but that doesn't mean you should have to worry about it. To celebrate our one-year birthday, we're giving everyone one more gigabyte. But why stop the party there? Our plan is to continue growing your storage beyond 2GBs by giving you more space as we are able. We know that email will only become more important in people's lives, and we want Gmail to keep up with our users and their needs. From Gmail, you can expect more."
They also (finally) added rich text formatting to emails. All of this within like two days, sheesh.
//I can't believe this made it in ME

//I have no idea what this is, but someone is standing behind me barking at me to include it.
I keep backups and browse smartly with Firefox. I also have a hardware NAT and regular run my Ad-Aware and AVG. Plus, I don't think I have too many confidential things on my system.
On Jan. 24th I go back to school after a week off and Monday nights always blow at work.
If the Steelers lose on Sunday (which they won't) then the day will definitely suck.
I think 14 interviews are a little too overzealous, but Google may have all this interviews as sort of a endurance and commitment test. For example, if 'you can commit to ten interviews, then we can count on you for good work ethic.'
This isn't Yahoo's fault or anything, but I'll check the traffic before I leave for school and everything is fine and dandy. Then I hit certain sections on my commute and there is a nice backup with no forewarning. This is around noon, so no radio stations are broadcasting traffic. Basically, it leaves me screwed. I dunno, just ticks me off.
I probably haven't downloaded any in the past two or three years. Ever since I moved to a LCD monitor, I didn't have the need for a screensaver anymore.
Fed Ex, like UPS, hires throngs of people around this time for peak time, so maybe that was the route he was thinking. Usually they are temporary though. I work at UPS and it is far from white-collar work. Oh well. Just wait, UPS will get in on Wheel of Fortune somehow.
Due to portability of tapes and the existing userbase, VHS will probably live on for a little bit more.
For example, I will sometimes record TV shows for my girlfriend who's VCR at college can't record for some reason. Usually the next time I see her, I give her the tape and she watches it at home or at school. But if I recorded these on TIVO or any DVR, its not that simple, at least not yet. So in that regard, VHS will be there.
- Lastly... ohmygod is it slow. I haven't seen it take this long to launch a browser since Netscape 1.0. Even worse, it appears to want to make me feel as if it's faster by drawing a window toward the beginning of the half-minute ordeal of starting it up. Unfortunately, it doesn't actually do anything, respond to any input, even draw any menus until several aeons later, so the pretense of being usable is pretty flimsy.
System specs, please? A little bit of RAM and prefetching can work wonders.
I hate that list. Most of it is just cranky nitpicking.
I know "preacting" is better than reacting, but has anyone in the public been with these exploits? How about in comparison to IE?
Make way for BCW, he's an esteemed VIP. He lets other people decide what movies he shouldn't watch and he gets in for free at the movies. What power!

I thought the sets and CGI looked great for a fan film. However, I think Vader's dialogue could've helped with a volume boost.
should've had your taxes done beforehand. But that's beside the point because we have to blame Microsoft if our taxes aren't in on time, I guess.

Star Wars failed? Hah
I wish I had all that time to try and 'prove' Google is 'cheating' omg
I've always wondered this, but how do they stock new titles? Like on Tuesdays, do they just get in a few thousand copies of each release?
We gotta trump the world in something else! Pick up the pace!

I understand MS is probably going after the average joe, but how can someone justify paying more than the cost of their internet service for this?
If they use the same computers at the BCS, we're screwed.
I thought this was called WebTV? ;)

Slap a UPC off of a $5.50 or $10 DVD there and put it on one of the zillion TV box sets I want. $10 instead of $50? Sure.

I'm going to school for this and network security, so I'll be sure to read further into this book.
