Not to sound like a jerk or anything, but most developers don't want more ideas, they just want people to play through and see if there's any problems. If they started to listening to the common man's ideas more, they MIGHT get some good ideas, but there's also the other 99.9% of people that would be screaming about how X unit should get 9999 shields and a nuke, and just a lot of other brainless things. These people don't usually have a lot of other things to, either, so I'm pretty sure their time isn't worth much and they'd be willing to put in more than a share of it.
I got a picture frame. No picture or anything inside it, JUST a picture frame. When opening it, I was all "Holy crap, I wonder what it is! It's a, oh, it's a picture frame. Great, thanks a bunch!"
It's funny how I was just wondering this, and then it was posted on slashdot. I bought the new Tony Hawk today, and went pretty crazy and played it for about 8 hours, and my thumbs hurt like crazy. I'm developing a blister on my left thumb.
Damn, I'm a nerd.

"Okay boys, listen up. This is our new secret weapon. It's called Windows 2004. Anyone gives you lip, just install it on their computer, and watch the sparks fly"
I still say that if any console released an SDK, they would beat the others overnight. They'd lose all their income from licensing fees, but their console sales would be through the roof with all the games that would be popping up, and games really do make the system.
Seems like all the good fighting games are against Capcom(Sammy vs Capcom, Capcom vs SNK 1 and 2, etc). So, it makes you wonder what Capcom has been doing to deserve all this anger from the Sammy and SNK camps to merit such fighting.
In other news, the OSDN has been purchased by Capcom in order to turn Slashdot into a Microsoft Tech Support page.
Do you expect growth in indie labels due to the monopolistic major labels taking so much money away from the artist and all that capitalist stuff? Or will they maintain their monopoly?
It seems like there would be an overwheling struggle by major labels to keep down the indie people so as not to lose money on their Britneys and Christinas.
At first they made it sound really horrible and greedy, but they're really only talking about pay-to-play tourneys, which I would assume would have prizes for the winner(s). So, it would be just like any other pay to sign up tournament with prizes to whoever wins.
Once they start becoming more standardized, looks like we might have to start worrying about the MPAA as much as the RIAA. And for $150,000 a song, who knows how much they'll try to fine for having a movie on your HD.

Let's say, theoretically, someone wanted to purchase these jackets. Where would one buy them?
I, er, my friend wants one.
I can already see the article on Fark.com.
"U.S. withdraws diplomats from foreign nations, sends new diplomats with guns to the Taiwan Straight. France surrenders."

Best. Christmas. Ever.

Surely she can't beat the Blood Raven. She's extra fast and does a bit of damage, and that sorceress couldn't even beat Bishibosh.
I think this is going to be a short-lived char =)
If The Simpsons has taught us anything, and it hasn't, it's that Tomacco plants aren't a good idea.

Consult my sources if you disagree. Ninjas > Pirates

They should have atleast made up a statement by Pikachu. Something like:
"Pi pika pi pi chu chu pika DIGIMON SUCKS kachu pi."
How many people visit /.? If we all pitch in some money, we could buy Blizzard and release 1337 open source games! How kickass would that be?
Who's with me?!

Does this mean I bought a SCO license in vain?!
" It appears that starting October 15th I will not be able to talk to my MSN friend in South Korea."
Well, that OR(and i know its a crazy idea) you could download MSN messenger. Jeez. It shouldn't be that big of a deal if you use it that much.
WHAT?!
Being a musician, touring is my favorite part. If you don't like touring, you should find another occupation.

Well, obviously they're just going to go for the most shared, mainstream songs and bands they can find, which turns out to be shiznat.

"OMG did u c the katanas on that 1!!"
He looks like a good guy, but his TV ad was pretty hilarious. Did anyone else see it on the Daily Show? "...And that is why I approved this ad"
"He also tries to address the paradox stumping many wannabe game professionals: "..how do you get experience when no one will hire you without any?" "
Who needs experience when you can just tell them your slashdot karma?
Yeah, but with that, you know there'd also be a handful of people abusing it, like there is in the real world. Virtual police brutality!
