We are looking for a plural for 'Wii Console' right?

Well you can abbreviate 'Wii Console' to 'WC' which is short for a toilet. And lets face it a toilet is a different type of Wee Console. Therefore the plural is 'toilets'.

If i had a nickel for every time an analyst made a prediction that turned out to be incorrect, I'd have the $200 necessary to buy the Wii!

    I actually reckon you'd have enough for a PS3!!!

  4. Answer is easy: tea plus less working hours on Americans Are Seriously Sick · · Score: 4, Funny

Tea has much better health benefits than coffee (and in fact even helped keep illnesses down in grime filled cities in the Industrial Revolution). So Americans drink more coffee to keep them awake so they can work longer hours hence getting more stressed and more ill.

Betcha don't feel so clever about the Boston Tea Party now!!!

  9. Manfacturing Costs on HD-DVD's Temporary Edge · · Score: 1

    Lots of people did.

Its also a question of creating volume sales of Blu-Ray drives and discs via sales of PS3's and its games on the discs that in the long run will make individual drives cheaper to run.

  10. Portable consoles on The Impact of Episodic Gaming · · Score: 1

I find that having a decent current gen DS (though same may apply for PSP) is the saviour of gaming. I don't always have access to the TV in the lounge with the console connected to it and after sitting at a PC at work all day means I'm not so enthusiastic about the hassle of setting up the game to run on that. But the portable is great way of getting the gaming fix in a manner that fits into the lifestyle better (eg when dinners being cooked, and best of all when on the khazi!).

Plus the fact that I've got a couple of cartridges I carry round on my keyring means I've got the variety to suit what mood and time I've got.

  11. Re:So give us adventures! on LucasArts Aims for #1 · · Score: 1

I've heard lots of good things about the LucasArts adventure games - and if they were revamped (or even slightly touched up!) for the Nintendo DS I'd be one of many who would look forward to that. Apart from Another Code:Two Memories there hasn't been anything that uses that style of gameplay - which is one for which it is ideally suited.

  13. 14 week launch window on Revolution Worldwide Launch Possible · · Score: 2, Interesting

The last categorical statement was a period of 14 weeks across the world which seems great and seems manageable.

But then they did completely deny a revamp of the DS just months before coming out with the DS Lite so if they were doing a simultaneous global launch I'm sure they wouldn't care if they'd actually said they weren't going to do one.

It will be OK if you are sharing your existing charger. The standard UK charger will work fine with a Japanese imported DS. The DS end of it is the same, its the bit that plugs into the wall thats different. You can get spare ones from GAME.

  24. Football Facts? on Who Owns Baseball Statistics? · · Score: 3, Interesting

In the UK the dates for the Football matches around the country are considered copyright - the fixture list on the main website is accompanied by:

"Copyright © and Database Right 2005 The FA Premier League Ltd / The Football League Ltd / The Scottish Premier League Ltd / The Scottish Football League. All rights reserved. Fixtures are subject to change. See Terms & Conditions."

IIRC they successfully sued someone who was using the dates without permission.

Good point about the HDTV takeup in the UK as well. I guess in fact that your point (b) applies to the whole of Europe as well?
