You get the hydrogen from water, and power the electrolysis from a dedicated Solar/Wind/Nuclear power plant located next to, or made part of the electrolysis plant. Hydrogen should be thought of as an energy storage medium (a battery) rather than an energy source (like hydrocarbons).
Bashing up other students is perfectly acceptable here in the good old US of A, DEFENDING yourself however, will easily result in at least a two week suspension. Oh, and god forbid you give someone, say, a hangnail on the bus.
I knew most of the curse words, and the meaning to the majority of them, at least by the time I was 10. My friends and I CONSTANTLY used them when there wasn't an adult around, or said them quietly enough if they where a few rooms away. You know what? My familly did get a computer with internet access untill I was 11, and I didn't play a game online till I was 12!
Oh yes works WILL go out of copyright, but only works done my small buisnesses and by individuals. Then the works will be re-writen by companies like Disney, who will copyright their version, and then trademark the title, and all the main character's names.
Agreed, a true, officially supported, online mode would be great. MTA is interesting, but it doesn't have any peds or AI cars driving around, it's more like your average FPS deathmatch in a REALLY big level. Of course having a patch for GTA:SA that actually fixed stuff rather than make things worse would be nice too. (I've found the PC version of GTA:SA extremely buggy, the only virtue is I don't have any problems with crashes)
There is plenty of spectrum that's practicly open to the public, all that's needed is an Amateur Radio license. The test isn't that hard if a 12 year old, or even younger can pass it. The morse code portion of the test for General and Extra classes (that allow HF bans where you can talk worldwide) are also within a year or two of being dropped.
You can do practicly anything, including video and several digital modes on the HAM bands, most of the restrictions only being there to reduce interferance, etc. You also have to follow 'indecency' rules. I might add, Tech class HAMs have license rights on the WiFi freq's, as such you can build custom wireless routers (there might even be some for sale), and transmit with a LOT more power.
WTF, 3 cents a MegaByte? That comes out to $21 per 700MB CD. You sure it's not $0.003/$0.006 respectivly? Hell, even that would come out to $210 for 100 pack of CDRs, which normally cost me $25 here in the states. I don't know how ya'll could ignore a price like that, even if you can buy it cheaply from another country.
I beg your pardon, but how the hell can hardware be leaked on a large enough scale to matter? First of all, Sony has to manufacture the PS3s, which won't start untill it's close enough to launch. Then all the units are in Sony's hands, and when it's shipped to retailer warehouses, the retailers will be under legal presure to keep them secure. Once they are in actual stores a week/few days prior to release, they'll still have legal presure, and by then it won't matter all that much if it's leaked'.
How can I grant them the right to use something I send over AIM if I don't own the material? Say I send a poem out of a book of poems that the author has copyrighted, but I am not the author, nor do I have permission from the author to redistibute. Esentially what I've done is illegal by sending it to someone else over AIM, but AOL says that I've given them the right to say use that poem in a (weird) commercial. How can they insist I give them that permission if I don't myself have the right to give it.
Note to self: If I ever make any poems, don't send them to editor over AIM.....
I say that if the weather industry doesn't like, maybe they should pick up the bill themselvs and pay it completely. Why should my tax money fully fund something I'll have to pay for anyway?
Actually, the problem is that it's really easy to get a signal, because you have a clear shot to a crap load of cells at the same time while you are up in the air.
To my understanding, it's not that huge of a mod. From what I hear, all the multiplayer code was already in the game, it's just that Sony told Rockstar to not go ahead with the multiplayer mode (for various reasons), so instead of taking out all the code, they just disabled it. All MTA does is re-enable the multi-player mode, along with a few other small things.
Anyone who thinks Republicans don't cheat and get false votes in is ignorant when it comes to politics and elections.
Anyone who thinks Democrats don't cheat and get false votes in is ignorant when it comes to politics and elections.
Election abuses are pretty rempant (though not as much as they used to be), however since both sides do it just as much as the other, it normally equals itself out. It's just plain ignorant to think it doesn't happen, or think that only one side does it.
2) it wont automatically be obsolete next christmas
Generally, a console generation lasts about 5 years, with a few straglers still coming out after a year or so. Compared to about 2 years or so before you need a major overhaul of your computer to keep up with current games. Hell, it's been about THREE years since the PS2 came out, and it won't be another year untill the next-gen consoles a first unveiled. It'll probably be at LEAST a year after that untill they are released.
Though I personally am more of a computer gamer now, since I spend most of my time at my computer, why should I have to get up and go to the couch just to play games!? But still, it's absolutely ridiculous to claim that PCs have the advantage of taking longer to become obsolete, especially for gamers.
so finally nvidia got its act together.
i wonder what took them so long?
They are still ahead of the game with Linux compared to ATI. ATI only just got Linux drivers out a few months ago. NVidia has had Linux drivers for at least around 2-3 years now (I didn't really care about it before then), this is just about them getting the 2.6 kernel drivers (and new chipsets). Also, to my understanding, ATI's Linux drivers arn't all that good, and they have yet to support the 2.6 kernel.
So really, if you want a brand name video card that supports Linux, NVidia is the way to go (at least for now).
Only 2 messages out of 150 normally get through that are spam? Good god, I normally get 5-10 spam messages a day that get through SpamAssassin. That's 750-1,500 spam e-mails a day! I thought it was bad before I enabled spamassasin a few months ago... but Jesus, man am I glad I got SA!

"The question is more how can YOU ethical approve eating chicken?!?!?"
Cause they are tastey?
In other news, ABC buys XYZ for $1.23B.
(1, never heard of these companies, 2, who cares?)

I got a bridge in New York to sell you too!

Maybe I just misundertood what you said?
So I don't have to worry as much about having DDoS attacks happen to my servers that are too big to cope with.

Guess this means everyone left is going to have to be pulling 100 hour work weeks!

And Video Game systems to watch DVDs....

Why doesn't Michel Moore go after these people? It seems to be just as target rich an environment as his current subject area.... :-)
I can't see the movie industry publishing a movie that makes them look bad, we are talking about a law proposed by an MPAA whore after all.

So are wars gonna be decided with Unreal Tournament now?
Of course not! Why do you think the Army made their own freely available game!?
(P.S. It does use the Unreal engine)
I don't know if I should dignify a response, but...
1. Eh.
2. W0SR is some guy's Amateur radio call sign.
3. You are a real smart ass...
