Guess what, science is not a democracy, voting agaist something matters shit.
Well, that is absolutely true, evolution doesn't care about what anybody thinks about it. But on the other hand it actually matters shit how the people think about science. The problem is that society doesn't rely on science but instead people and how they think. I would be dead scared living in a society where the majority of people don't believe in evolution or worse yet science as a whole.
My point is that stating that science is the definite answer doesn't change much if nobody believes it. This is taking it too its extreme, but I hope it makes my point.
At Aalborg University, Denmark the server platform is also migrating to Linux. When I started there 4 years ago there were only Sun servers obviously running Solaris.
At the moment our second Dell server running Redhat has been set up, not as a replacement for the Sun servers, but as an optional "other choice". The tendency is that more and more users have shiftet over to using the Linux servers. Now also only large time and memory consuming jobs are run on the Sun maskines, since the hardware specs are quite a bit higher (8-way 900 MHz with 32 GB RAM).
The new shuttles are what my eyes are out for. Their design has become top notch and you can now purchase systems with AMD64... I'm just waiting for the money.

Well, all links have been Coralized by the auther (read more about Coral) in the hope of withstanding a slashdotting, but Coral is still still under development, so I would assume it's here the problem lies.

It looks like water is the main problem. Ironic, as it's our origin.
This is yet another example which shows that crime never pays!
In other news, 7391 shashdotters consider acquiring illegal software.
Someone had to remind slashdotters of the superior editor... Ed, man!
...their actions would result in an economic death penalty.

Sometimes you think that most of the /. posts are randomly generated, seedrf with the Wikipedia page on Slashdot subculture...
Now if they could shrink the size of atoms... THAT would be innovative!
Too bad that Openbox has already killed Fluxbox off, then.
But but what we really want to know is if it will run on Linux?

Øøøh, what's the problem of making a 1 line P2P app? The line might get a bit long, but that isn't a problem...
Bought it from Amazon yesterday at a price of £44 ~ 500 DKK it's about half price compared to danish prices. So yup, me for one.

Here's a Coralized link to varioptic.com.
