Funny thing about the "magic=drugs" thing is that Giles and the coven that Willow went to after almost destroying the world told her that the whole abstinence thing was completely wrong.
That's all an Xbox mod chip is. There is an LPC bus debug header on the Xbox that you can plug an external ROM into. You pull down one signal, and the Xbox sends memory reads over the LPC bus instead of the internal ROM bus.
Any Xbox "mod" that exists is basically wires to an external LPC ROM chip with other fancy features such as a way to disable the ROM and use the on-board BIOS. Plus, the pinout is an Intel-defined debug header.
There is no way that this hardware can be considered illegal.
And for god's sake, you didn't pay $n,000 dollars to get the same education you could get from a video-correspondance course.
Actually, you probably pay $n,000++ for those video correspondance courses. I just got done taking an NTU class that was actually a Georgia Tech class. A 3 hour course was $3,000. Luckily, I got my company to foot the bill.
Also, I recently found out that I could take the same courses from Georgia Tech directly for $1,700. NTU gets quite a profit from those things I guess. If I do continue taking courses, I'm going to apply to Georgia Tech directly.
This is refreshing to see how many Phish fans are out there on/. Any of you guys going to the NYE or Hampton shows? I got shut out of those, but I'm going to the Cincinnati shows.
I'm listening to the 10/7/00 mp3's right now. They do sound great, but I like to occasionally here the audience cheering. I guess I'm still going to get shows from Furthur.
They did a level like this in one of the recent Bond games. I think it was Agent Under Fire. I only played a little of the single player, but the tank level was great. It felt a lot like that scene in the movie.
Anyway, the auxiliary voltage supply is still on in any modern PC with an ATX supply when the power is "off". I guess the fact that some components are operational causes some level on noise.
I've got Phoenix installed now, and I was able to install Mouse Gestures through Tools->Preferences->Extensions, but how do I configure Mouse Gestures now? I want to map the gestures button to middle mouse, but I don't have the menu like Mozilla has.
Also, I can't figure out how to add sites to the pop-up whitelist.
I think this is a great idea. I currently use a Tivo , and I love it. However, if Time Warner's "on-demand" service ever got expanded to offer more shows, I think it would seriously cut into Tivo's profits.
Of course, I guess that AOL would be cutting into Time Warner's cable money by offering shows over AOL
Does having friends at Microsoft help you learn how to use a $ instead of an S in MS?

Please. Gaiman wasn't "prechewing" anything for us. He just tried bring a story into a frame of reference that would make a little more sense to American society. He wasn't trying to dumb something down for us. A lot of things just don't make sense if you try to directly translate them.
You can force them to use a webmail client like Squirrelmail. This is what I've been doing for the last 4 or 5 months. I guess there is still the possibility of someone forwarding on a vb virus.

Wait, I was mistaken. That's just the smell of urine and feces.

You've got marijuana!
Why do you have this gem rotting in your basement?
You can put FancyLinux 11.23b on it, and run it as a firewall/fileserver/home security robot/cheese grater.

Snow Crash had some good stuff in it. Every time some jerk cuts me off in traffic I wish I had some of those nasty stickers.

Which means you now have 20-30 targets to destroy in 30 seconds instead of 1 target in 10 seconds. Fun!
I think this is one of the new mini-games in Mario Party 4.

Ok, I give up. I've spent more than 30 seconds on google looking for a definition of TMTOWDI. What the hell does it mean?

I agree. I still do a lot of my server troubleshooting on the Usenet, and I read rec.music.phish from time to time. Works fine for me.

I agree completely. I don't understand why this hasn't become a standard for any game that has a team-based mode.
I'd like to say things like, "Hey, jackass. When you pick-up the ball, head towards the other person's base."
