I'll have an opinion once I use one. But my general feeling is that if the games are designed with this controller in mind and can take advantage of its features then it will be a good thing. Playing older game cube games that were made for the old style controller probably would not be so good. So I guess it all depends on the developer.
The 'Rise of the Geek'??!? Well I guess that's nice for the next generation if up and coming nerds, but that doesn't make the pain and humiliation that was childhood any easier. So I like Star Trek, just leave me alone asshole! Hey, I'm trying to read my cosmology book, go away!
I always knew that right meant correct but I had no idea how much negative connotation there was to left until high school when I took french. As a southpaw I was very upset to learn that the french word for left was 'gauche' which also means clumsy, akward, and rude. I would add the condition that it must orbit a star, (to exclude moons) and not be a star itself (to exclude binary or multiple stars). And not be part of a belt of similar objects (to exclude Ceres, Juno, Pluto/Charon, and Sedna which are all spherical).

The first was to identify the constellation that points to the north star. Being an astronomy geek I blurted our "URSA MAJOR! The second question was the location of Mount Olympus. I thought it was a little wierd that they did not use the proper latin Olympus Mons but it couldn't be anywhere but mars. Again thinking I had just won the game for the males of the family yelled "Tharsis Planitia! Yeah baby!" To which my non-martian-topography-knowing-mom said "No it's Greece even I know that.
Perhaps it's because both the porn industry and the video game industry are dominated, and run mostly by males?
And you think some of those males aren't gay and have a thing for tough ruggedly individualistic digital types who kill monsters, but have a tender side they would only show with the right person? Ahhhh only in my dreams.
