I recommend The Lost Fleet book series by Jack Campbell to anyone interested in realistic space battles, that take into account relativistic aspects and the speed of light. Also the 90's TV show Babylon 5 nailed newtonian physics, but the ships engaged in close battle for the sake of visual entertainment. You can see Starfuries and White Stars strafing like the Asteroids video game.
The fucking CIWS has been in operation since 1980. It picks it's targets/threats.

I'm not scarred. We won't be just randomly letting loose killbots in the streets to clean them up. And it's not like they won have any safeties, kill switches, dead man switches, human oversight or manual overrides.
Yes I am gonna be that guy. Doom was certainly one of the earliest hits of the genre ON THAT PLATFORM.
The FPS Tail Gunner came out in 1979. I thought it was quite a hit. Maybe I was wrong.
I agree that the controller sucks very much and that the mouse is far superior. But to say FPS can not be played at all on a controller is not a fair argument.
I would rather game on a PC with a mouse and kb. But due to injury that is just not possible anymore for me. That is why I am glad I can still play on my console.
Just because the mouse is so much better than the stick or gamepad does not mean that the stick or gamepad is completely useless. Maybe you should not take games so seriously and try focusing on having fun and letting other people have fun. Sorry if I pegged you wrong. That is the only reason I can imagine to have such an extreme and dismissive attitude towards the console controllers.
Virtualization works fine for basic stuff but games don't perform well in it. And boot camp is nice but avoiding a reboot is not exactly pointless in my opinion.
The title also had me wondering how many species of humans there were. So what if the parent does not know the difference between there, their and they're?
Also UT99 or UTgoty used the first generation of the unreal engine. UT2003 & 2004 used the 2nd gen engine. UT3 will be using the 3rd gen unreal engine.
I don't need a lot of stuff. I would never use GPS or IM. What I want is a video camera and stereo bluetooth support for playing music. Of course a video camera would need more capacity like 32GB or more. Who would not want a cheaper price and more storage?
All the ships in B5 acted on newtonian physics. You can see Starfuries, WhiteStars, and other ships strafing appropriately.

You got to walk before you can run. We should figure out how to create a human with morals and ethics first.

I assume it will also have at least one police station?
its the interfaces, not the bandwidth
Maybe for you. Some of us keep clogging up the pipes.
But a lot of people don't understand that reasonable expectation is not the same as faith.
Start calling Pluto an asteroid... and it's starts acting like one. http://www.shof.msrcsites.co.uk/pluto.jpg
Maybe instead of basing it on ideology they should run simulations on a supercomputer to find likely real world threats. Oops did I spoil TFA for you?
The news broke about ten years late. You think they would send something other than the form letter telling you he turned it down already?
I am on my third 360 and all three have been loud. My quiet Mac mini is much better for playing DVDs.
Be careful what you call those things. For example start calling pluto an asteroid... www.shof.msrcsites.co.uk/pluto.jpg

So is a shrinking frame of reference indistinguishable from a slowing frame of reference?
So true but we are not talking about the Xbox 360 users so I struggle to see how your comment is relevant.

Once again, at risk of being redundant, the PS3 players can use a mouse and keyboard.

Makes me wonder if he dropped any good loot.
