    i bought a new samsung boost mobile phone for this exact purpose when my touch died. Cost me 60 dollars and does almost the same things.

    I bought a Samsung Replenish pre-paid phone to use as an mp3 player when my ipod died (the replenish was 60 dollars at target) It runs android 2.3.6 on a 600mhz proc and does my media needs just fine, even video tolerably. Yeah maybe it was a 'crappy' smartphone, but it was only 60 dollars,.

    My MSI u100 was emitting WHITE SMOKE out of a port, I shut it down, and let it rest for awhile, that was 2 years ago, it still runs great to this day... as a hackintosh.

    IIRC correctly, TeamViewer dials home too, but it is so much more convenient than setting up RDP on every machine I support, and has great connection management.

Well I think that if one scans a barcode with a smartphone, uses a sticker sheet and a printer, 'Ol Country Joe could probably do this same scam with "his own software skills" I presume he was scanning cheaper items and just replacing the bar codes on the more expensive ones, he wasn't "Hacking" the target database and changing prices.

    The MAFIAA monitor bittorrent swarms and are already sending infringing notices, which only reference sharing, not the downloading part... I have stopped using Bittorrent for anything but legal downloads or if I am in a cafe or mcdonalds with wifi, where it cannot be traced back to me.
