In the parent post you claimed you work for Sony. Yet only have a dozen stories ago you claimed you work for NASA. You must be either very busy, or very good at getting fired and hired.
I found This book very useful while studying organic.
More generally, don't try to memorize tens of different reactions. Just remember the important principles, like how to draw lewis structures, which atoms are nucleophiles and which are electrophiles and Markonikov's rule etc. And solve as many mechanism/synthesis problems as you can find.
Recently I bought Morrowind second hand for about half the priceI could buy it new. It was pretty much an impulse purchase and if the price was much higher I probably wouldnt have bought it.
About 3 days later I bought a new copy of the Tribunal expansion and I'm going to buy the Bloodmoon expansion this week. So the makers have got some money out of me, and they probably wouldn't have gotten any if I hadn;t been able to buy second-hand.
Geeks being "'libertarian freaks, nuttily suspicious of centralized power', who would 'scream to the high heavens if they found anything wrong'." is not a bug but a feature.
Some friends of mine are in the legally dubious recational pharmaceutical business. Somehow they managed to lock themselves out of the computer with a BIOS password.
I fixed it by moving the BIOS battery jumper and in return they gave me $20(price they sell it at, they get it for much less) worth of chemicals. I was professional and didn't consume any until I fixed the computer and everybody was happy.
Screenshots are great and all, but I'm still a bit sceptical. As soon as they say "Buy David now for $49.95. With our %100 compatibility, kick us if it doesn't work guarantee" I'll take it seriously.
It's about time

Every body I know has been saying "Gameboys are great, but I'm not buying one until it has a GPS"
Definetely, personally I'd prefer the democrats to be in charge but it'll be a long time waiting for that to happen. Latham has been pretty impressive in the last couple of months.
I find myself using my imagination a lot more when I'm playing nethack or something similiar. The graphics in diablo are nice but my mind has a way better resoloution.
There's a lot of comments about whther or not his is useful or just stupid. While you probably wouldn't be running a database on your gamecube (unless they port apache and python as well, for a very cheap web server), this ensures postgresql is platform independent which makes it easier to port to other more useful systems.
I did 6 months work experience at a small IT security place a while ago, the work is interesting and management/paperwork is no worse than anywhere else.

What about some imitation Soylent Green. "I can't believe it's not made of people".
;l is a list ;a is the thing to the list

We had a federal election in Australia 'bout 2 weeks ago. This report could have a had an effect on the result.
On the Intel site, if you try to download the free compiler it asks where you heard of the site. /. Is one of the options.

what about people in underwear,
nude-but-can't-see-the-naughty-bits erotic art,
Janet Jackson's nipple,
dirty stories,
Mills and Boon novels.
There are a lot of different viewpoints on where to draw the line.
But I do like the main idea.
* Fud
* I can't believe it's not fud
* Tofud (Fud for vegetarians)

I parsed that wrong at first. I thought games based on movies suck yet at that same time games based on movies do not suck.
What is it some kind of heisengame that is good in the box but sucks when you open it and play it. Hmm maybe I was right after all
The worst part is I've read your comment several times and still can't guess what country you're from.

SDL and OpenGL do pretty much the same thing as DirectX. With, IMHO a much shallower learning curve.

There was no beagle. They were go to fake it in the desert but then they had union problems.
I'm in Australia, most Australian geeks don't even dream about download more the 3-4 gigs a month.
