how is removing a rev limiter from a car similiar to using a product that enables you to steal an unlimted amount of game titles. Must be that crazy, sunlight deprived gamer logic working there.
if you don't know how to shut off the 'feature' known as autoplay, in turn making such things pointless. Then you don't deserve to steal music.
all kidding aside now.
Me being a proud owner/fan of an iPod, I think this a good idea for apple to get their product pimped out to even more people. Not that they haven't done so already through their stallar marketing campaign concerning all thins iPod and iTunes.
In an iPod related note, my little cousin showed me the 'ipod' he wanted. It was in fact a Dell Brick Box. Has iPod turned into the new Kleenix? If so Apple should market for the military if it can do THAT kind of brainwashing. HUUZAAHHHH!
I'm a proud owner of a 3G 40gig. I'll eventually save up for the 60gig when it comes out.
In the meantime I can't help but think all the loyal third-party vendors of accessories for the 3G (there were alot after the holiday boom) would be a bit miffed that Apple changed the design again. Leaving them to re-make many of their already well sold products.
They want to scare people before there is actually a full on problem for them. MPAA is no better or worse than any lobbying group.
AND just like the RIAA, they won't admit to having a rotten egg if something isn't selling right. It must be downloading that got Gigli canned. Fuck them, and fuck their money system. Unless of course it's Spiderman 2.
The internet is to blame, not because of downloading. It's to blme because I can log onto Trillian and tell 20 of my friends the movie I just shelled out 9 bucks to see, sucked and they shouldn't see it.
Thier tactics aren't working.
They caught ONE kid in the theatre shooting the movie with a cam. How many kids sneak cams into movies? In just new york?! They "caught" less than a couple thousand people with HUGE caches of music shared. How many people are doing the same NOT getting caught.
I've said this before and I'll say it again. The mainstream media plays us for fools, whether it's music, movies, or our own gubment. I ain't eatin' the cheese, I hate yellow.
I think the thought of having personal files and access to personal files on a central resource could yeild comical problems such as a father finding his daughter nude from her indiana boyfriend's personal files.
No class? maybe.
Offtopic? nahh.
But the nearest Apple distributor near me is CompUsa.
Now I can take my iPod there if I have a problem (I didn't buy it there) ORRR I could goto the apple store where not only do they know what they are talking about (or seem to more than CompUSA droogs) But there is little to no bad attitude when I'm in there.
It may not be much but it's why I'll drive 30 extra minutes to the Apple Store than to CompUSA.
although not to that degree. There are cameras almost everywhere. Some of them are traffic cams but a good many of them are downtown oriented cams. I don't think the images captured are being sent to cruisers or copters yet. I know that there is a traffic channel that cycles through the traffic cams 24/7 on cable around here.
Microsoft is paying to have ads displayed on a site where ads of the M$ variety will pretty much be ineffective anyways. I AM assuming this because people who goto a Linux news site already decided M$ isn't for them anyways. They are paying into the revolution against them, aren't they?

I'm paying part of my health insurance.
You can speculate all you want...
but shouldn't we ask an expert, like matthew broderick?
I can't swing my GBA around on it's cord like I did my NES controller when I get frustrated for not making any more ground in Metroid.
It's scare tactics.

we could even incorporate it into a card game.

I have a CD collection of over 500 CDs, throw in about 40LPs i've copied.
I've spent less than 10 bucks in an online music store.
These devices aren't for people to get into music, They are IMHO devices for people who already love and own alot of music.
I own a 40gig iPod and it's filled to the gills with my own music NOT from an online store.
granted, you have to spend the money to buy CDs and records anyways, but that's part of being a music lover.
The potato gun of my DREAMS!!!!!!!!

Not only the aesthetical aspect of it.

I already pieced together the stolen source and beat the game in 10 minutes, it was easy.
but i'm sure it only sounds good in .ogg or .flac and i'd rather listen not on my iPod but on a rio karma.
waka waka waka.

I'm wrong alot, someone clear this up for me.
You just don't have enough music maybe?
or you like low quality rips.
I have a 40gig iPod and once the 60s come out I'll be getting one and it will more than likely be filled within a month.
This is a much waited for relase for us music guys.
