What you are talking about has nothing to do with the new offer, and has been a service Apple has provided for several years. If a new Apple product comes out up to 10 days after your purchase, you can turn in your new-bought machine and get the new product instead and get (If any) the difference back.
And if you are on a mac, try the OSS IM-client, that runs gaim as its backbone. It uses less resources than any other IM-client on the mac. And it is fully customizable.
2) I can finally have SCSI performance on my laptop if I can ever get one with onboard SCSI. Of course, heat is still an issue...
If this starts a new era with scsi on powerbooks, expect Apple to lead.
...Anyone wants to know:

The easiest way to get neopoints without doing anything, is to use their stockmarket. You buy at 15 np/share, and sell at 20+ np/share. Easy, you dont do anything, earn a lot...:) Their stockmarket works like s***.... Totally random.
None of the pets can die! They have a very good approach to this.. The pet can have a hunger of dying, but they can never die. A small child would be very sad if their favorite pet died, and therefore they have made it so it cant happen.
It didnt even have a harddrive, so no, you didnt have a 1 Mb harddrive Macintosh at that point either.. It worked solely by 400 k floppy discs. Oh the days, the system and several programs on a single disc.:)
Oh yeah? Show your titties then and prove to us that you are not a 'wanna b/. girl'!

"We planned to have our next generation iMac ready by the time the inventory of current iMacs runs out in the next few weeks, but our planning was obviously less than perfect."
Apple is going for a next generation-leap, but their supplier of floppy-drives had problems with the new 90 nm process!

Certainly not for games! The CrapForce 5200 sucks compared to the hiphip's Radeon 9700.

This one seems to be targeted at the off-road crowd. I'm sure they'll make the neccessary changes to hiking trails in short order. Oh, in that case...
Parks and lawns are being redesigned as we speak to accomodate this thing. I'm sure!
Look on your face when you realise it has been a month and it is still working even though its running on MS hardware: Priceless!
1. .....But does it run Linux?
2. Imagine a BeoWulf cluster running on these!
Since there's about 1.1 billion indians, they could easily get to the moon about 6 times if they just stood on each others heads.. Pretty low cost! :)
OpenBeer is better!
Or as an Apple zealot, iBeer!
Very crappy quality.. Hard to make out what he says! (At least for a non-english native dude like me)
But I did catch one important thing... Did Hamill say that Lucas originally planned 4 trilogy's? Star Wars 1-12? O_o Insane...
It does have the final confrontation with Saruman. So yes, we do get to know what happens with him!
