    To what end? I suggest you go see the movie as soon as possible and do what movie makers are justifyable terrified of... Tell everyone exactly what you think of it (without spoilers of course) as soon as you exit the theatre. /., IM, SMS, blog, you name it.

    It's to late to protest the movies have already been made. The best things to do is tell the truth. If the movie sucks, don't delay the profit, cut it off.

    Guess you missed that chapter in sociology. Here's a refresher, although the afore mentioned scenario assumes there was no new population to integrate into, thereby maintaining their isolation.

    What are the real consequences of Not regulating?

    Although I agree that state level regulation is a cluster f**k waiting to happen, it seems unrealistic that regulation could be avoided all together.

    In addition, regulation is a double edged sword. Of course the gov and existing telcos are going to demand their share for whatever reason, but there are inevitable abuses that the average joe/jill user's Mom will have to weather with little to no recourse without regulation.

    The Science Channel is available on DirecTV. Watched a decent show a couple weeks ago on the science that goes into the construction of a new house and it's materials. Actually made watching paint dry interesting :p

    Why is it an "Addiction" when you find something in life so wonderful that you want it to consume your every waking moment, to the point of almost elimination of non-waking moments, to the point of where the concept of time is meaningless and there is only you , the refresh button and... uh...

    No, you don't.

    I've got mixed feelings about the decision.
    On one hand, I respect Sony & DP's decision not to put out something that isn't up to GT standards (and because of them there is a very high standard - still remember the warm and fuzzy from seeing GT1 for the first time). I also understand the need to publish an otherwise complete game as production costs require compensation. Time is MASSIVE amounts of money. A delay of the magnitude they're speaking of could do serious damage to the company as a whole.

    On the other hand, wait... Screw that. This series has been nothing but incredible, kicking the living CRAP out 80% of the competition on they're worst runs. I will support the series as long as it remains true to what's made it what it is, uncompromising quality. THAT is LOVING the series.

    Lucas: Just because the market has shifted so dramatically. Have you seen the Phantom Edit of Episode II? Technological advances have allowed fans to show what a fluke the originally released trilogy was for me. That has really eaten dramatically into the sales. It really just came down to, there may not be a market when I wanted to bring it out, which was like, three years from now. So rather than just sit by and watch the whole thing [The revenue stream I can glean off of the remaining clueless] fall apart, better to bring it out early and get it over with.

    Doesn't have to be life or death. A company can easily expeience 6-7 digit profit loss due to down time in a matter of days.
