Have you seen the pace cars used in races? I heard several years ago about a guy getting busted for going 120 km/h on a major highway in Toronto which was the flow of traffic on the 401 on any day. He and his buddies got in their cars after he lost in court and drove side by side at the speed limit and backed the whole city up. I believe the moral of the story was that they got arrested again and are generally considered dumbasses. Though that is one way of making people go the speed limit.
What's Dr. Germ? The name kind of creeps me out. It could be a cleaning product, or it could be an evil scheme, or it could be a poorly named Dr. Pepper rip-off (a-la Dr. Zip)...could it be a cohort of Dr. Evil?
It's not a problem to have them at all. Though you do have ot be a member of a gun club and can only transport the gun to and from said club. Hmmmm, memory says that you have to keep the gun locked in a cabinet at home, also trigger-locked, ammunition stored in a separate locked cabinet. I, as a Canadian gun owner have no complaints at all with the system as it is here. Note also that every gun in the country (legal ones that is) is registered and tracked in a database.
I agree, and I mean no offense to the users and developers in saying this, it's a wonderful product, can be great for non-professional use, but it's not even close to what a professional needs. Note that by professional I don't mean a web-designer, GIMP is ideal for web-designers.
I love it. Probably my favourite colour scheme on/. definitely better than a couple of the vomit-inducing ones like the Apache version (purple with a tan yellow.
There is a port of FreeBSD that runs on Sun machines, this port was funded and basically created by Sun so that they could sell the machines to BSD users. A very good plan actually, but one that they dropped after a while, though they still develop quite a bit of software including StarOffice and java. Read more here.
Here is absolute proof that the www isn't worse than it was ten years ago. I don't think I could say it more succinctly. Warning!!! All of those who are flash-opposed or flash-challenged, don't bother.
Understood...I was only trying to outline the basics of the concept. I would imagine that they would dupe frames rather than interpolation as interpolation can cause a sense of bluriness at high framerates.
Hmmmmmmm, I was just going to suggest "through the power of religious fervour" to make people believe that they are working toward the greater good. Don't take this as a slander of OSS, just an observation.
Framerate conversions are pretty common...done all the time in the conversion between film and television. There's a decent explanation of the concept here . THe numbers would be different for Imax, but the concept would be the same.
My Model M was made on July 11 1986....I don't enjoy using other computers sheerly because of the keyboards....thin ten dollar pieces of plastic crap.....I like having a keyboard that can be used as a weapon should the need arise. I generally peel off the sticker before I put it in the dishwasher, but that does seem to be the best way to clean it, though I go long periods without doing that because my backup is terrible. I'm thinking that I might have to start hunting for another one to use as my backup and just-in-case.
Nothing is more evil than Real...I just will not install it anymore. Too many bad experiences...spyware, crashes, lock-ups, and just plain bad video all the time. I do miss some of the streaming audio that was available for it, but, oh well.
Don't petition....just order them online from Hong-Kong, then buy the special edition as well when they come out to take care of any residual IP theft guilt. I've seen the DVD's available now and can honestly say...sweet as hell.
Not 100% sure what you meant by that, all of the Guinness that I sell in Canada is imported...read here.
Ahhhh, maybe you meant that you should check the label and make sure you're drinking a nice Canadian beer. That I can understand, though Guinness is nice as a substitute for breakfast.
What he meant to say and everyone else assumed is that refined sugar is the problem. Raw, natural sugars, particularly those found in fruits, are much easier on the body. I put honey in my tea...I know it's still not good for me, but it's better for me and now I prefer the taste.
...Or it may have something to do with the Euro's strength in the oil trading market and taking control back towards the American side....nothing's black and white, well except oil and innocence.

It's not trolling, it's treason!
lol

I suppose you could say that...for sufficiently loose definitions of prove.
Funniest thing about this comment was that I read the body of it before I read the title. I thought it was about...oh, you get it.

Don't mod this down. I'm a little concerned about this. I've always valued the ability to post AC, and now it's gone with no announcement?
Let's hope it's a mistake, sometimes our anonymous friends cut through the noise and contribute some wonderful insight and important things.

He does have a great price on film...it can go pretty low with the right connection I suppose.
You're supposed to put quotes around "liberate".

Damn it, you beat mine by one day......they probably went out with the same shipment though.

That's a little bit gauche don't you think? We're not animals after all.
