Personally I thought that was great, especially the shot immediately after showing the rain going straight down. Definitely not a mistake, but rather a very nice stylistic element.
I have to agree entirely, he gets a bad rap because he's in bad movies, but he's making a killing. He was also pretty good in 'Boiler Room', which to my mind was one of the more under-rated movies of 98/99.
RMA.......look for a used laptop distributor, might have a problem with finding consistency of model. I work for a used pc distributor and our focus isn't laptops, but even still we've got plenty of salvageable odds and ends...if you're willing to pay for them, I'm sure a big enough distibutor would be able to come up with something.
Also, there's companies out there making custom laptops these days. Surely you'd be able to buy parts from them at the right price.
Hey, we're adults too, nothing wrong with the occasional dick-and-fart joke. Most of the movies out there are much, much worse. At least the Kevin Smith flicks are intelligently written and contain great dialogue, which is more than I can say about the latest installment of "The Terminator" or "Bad Boys II". Most movies are pap...though Kevin Smith is definitely lacking in the cinematography department at times.
There is a lot of American involvement in this problem, but it is actually positive. American RFS (river forecast system) technology that is being utilized to manage the flows of the Columbia, the Mississippi, and other large rivers in the states is being utilized to control the flows of the rivers that are draining the Aral. I read a great article about it in the dead tree version of Wired a while ago, the text is available online here.
Here's DARPA'sFutureMAP website which explains a little more about the idea than the article did. Note that this is a follow-up to a previous, similar program.
My biggest issue with VHS is the signal degradation over time. I can't bear to watch video from just a year or two ago, even worse video from the early nineties.
Btw, if this whole videophile, vhs rules thing is a troll...congratulations, well done.
At what cost to the ecosystem? We've got to stop messing with nature and start living with it, thinking up intelligent alternatives to killing them in the same casual ways in which we kill ourselves.
As someone who recently had West Nile I can honestly say that it was a pretty shitty (no pun intended) evening of cramps and fever. I'll take that anyday over paranoia and semi-constant exposure to the nasty potentially cancer causing chemicals in the majority of bug sprays. Oh, and once you've had West Nile you can't get it again.
I live in Ontario and get to watch the constant commercials and news stories about the great threat of the mosquitoes. I do understand that certain segments of the population (the old, the young, the sick) should take precautions, but I don't like the fact that people are dumping chemicals in all of the standing water around to cut the mosquito population. My neighbour was dumping misc chemicals into the rainbarrel that he uses to water the lawn that his children play on. Paranoia kills common sense.
One of the major thoughts in the whole interview is that our storage has increased to such a point that we can't access it all in a reasonable fashion. For my uses (which are far from industrial level) I find that I can only watch one movie or listen to one song at a time. On my 200 gigs of hard disk I've got 60 gigs of music (and growing daily) and at least 100 gigs of movies.
Don't judge me on the legalities of the situation, but note that this isn't uncommon...I have some very drastic media needs and the media that I like is pretty intensive, but I don't very often need to stream any of it en masse to another location. It suits it's purposes fine exactly where it is, and I haven't had any problem acquiring any of it or accessing it.
I suppose my rambled-to point is that for my needs I'd rather there was more storage at this point than have higher access speeds as I can get all that I need as fast as I need it. Perhaps our usage of the medium dictates how it develops.
As I was reading through all of these wonderful responses I was hoping someone would mention Charlie Hunter. One of the best shows I've ever seen was Charlie Hunter and Leon Parker performing together at the Montreal Jazz Festival a couple of years ago. An incredibly intense performance for something so laid back, just the two of them working it back and forth. The album 'Duo' was recorded all in one take if memory serves me with only one drum overdub...I mention this because this fact amazes me everytime I listen to the album, it sounds like it could be five guys instead of two. 'Duo' by Charlie Hunter and Leon Parker.
The Vatican is a country. It may be in the shape of a city, but it is entirely an independant entity and the smallest in the world. It's population is under a thousand, it's official language is latin, it has it's own currency, and a radio station. Don't know why I know all of this.
Hmmm, troll?...anyway, a green screen works exactly the same way a blue screen works and they actually used green for the scenes I've seen shot in Star Wars (on the dvd bonuses that is).
True that about the Ender books and reading them obsessively....my boss called me one morning to ask why I was late for work....I had started reading Shadow of the Hegemon before bed. Had to pretend to be sick so I could spend the next hour or two finishing it. I enjoyed Hegemon most as the Bean/Ender relationship reminded me a great deal of a friendship I've had over the years.
Well said.

Can anyone confirm whether those are the original versions of the code or the linksys modified versions?

Careful, they might not have worked out the bug that caused teeth to be used.
I still can't tell if this is all one big troll.

Why should they have complete freedom of movement?
You're right, we should tie them in closets like veal.

Lol, it's all good bro, it's his sig...confusing as it may be.
For those who are lazy...click here...amusing.
Not since the early nineties my friend.

Can anyone else tell if this is a troll or a moron? I'm finding it hard to tell the difference lately, I think I need a break.

It may be old, but it does make sense that Katz was an Aol-er, that's something that you can't just rub out.
April Fool's day story. The only one that I even raised an eyebrow about actually.

Depends on what letter it is doesn't it? Though not an E, certainly not an E.
