No, the point that everything goes digital to analogue at some point and it's the equipment at that end which determines the loss in quality, top of the range kit had less loss in quality than Generic Speaker X.
In my peer group (16-18 year olds, mostly from a council estate) then a lot of them are pregnant, and most certainly not planned. Even more scary is the number already pushing prams and still trying to attend 6th Form (College).
Except for the bits you've already thought of, such as having to put it in an orbit avoiding everything else, the fact it would play hell with tides, confuse countless creatures who use the moon for guidance (Think turtles)...
tbh I think the reason I can tell is that all my CDs are ripped as lossless, whereas all my AACs are from other sources (origin mostly unknown). I know that means it isn't fair, but my point still stands.
Because (and this is a serious point, not trolling) it Just Works. Windows is the entire system (Well, in theory), WINE is merely an aspect of a whole.
Configuring WINE to work correctly on a Linux system takes time and skill which many people who run Windows because "Windows is a computer" will not even be bothered to try learning, let alone succeed at.
Until Linux and associated applications have the 'Just Works' factor of Windows, there is no way in hell that you're going to convert the masses, no matter if they can run their latest cool game under WINE or not.
Umm... you mean like when you convert your digital CD to analogue to listen to it?
File to analogue isn't classed as a lossy step in the process, since it really depends on your equipment. I have some headphones which I can't tell the difference between 128kbps and 320kbps because they're such poor quality, but at the same time I have headphones I can tell the difference between 320kbps AAC and Apple Lossless (I'm an iTunes man, so shoot me).
End story is that *everything* goes digital to analogue, but that only loses quality when it hits any analogue equipment such as speakers or analogue cabling.
It's an ESA mission, not NASA. The fact that this is the first ESA mission to Mars makes it slightly more newsworthy, ESA has never worked at these distances before.
ST:TOS bit - what else do you expect? The only people to ever die were the red shirted ones. If someone told me I was going on an away mission with a red shirt I'd be going "No way, aliens eat red people!"
Badges sometimes have sponsors though. My cooking badge is sponsored by Flora, and home safety by Prudential Insurance (Or someone, I can't be bothered fishing out my camp blanket).
How it works is there's a lower bound for non-spam, an upper bound for definate spam, and everythign else gets thrown into a 'suspect' folder which is great for keeping up with changing language.
I get zero false positives reaching the definate spam bin, 2 or 3 a week from mailing lists get into suspect. I see maybe one a week which hasn't been flagged as suspect and is sitting in my inbox.
There's only 5 or 6 a day in the suspect folder to deal with, and since it's a Bayesian filter they all help to keep it trained.
My hand counts to 5!
I can't believe you clicked it, don't you look at where links take you?
OK, it was actually not bad for any goat*.*
Apparently 1.1 includes a far nicer update handler.
I want 1.1, because at the moment I have 0.8, 0.9, 1.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 in my add/remove programs list.
That's SPAM, a trademark of Hormel Foods Inc.
Yes, the caps do make a difference.

Depends, I'm single /.er and getting plenty ;)

The Internet was originally a research tool, then got sidelined by the military, then dragged into porn, now used worldwide.
This is the normal procedure for things.
Generic Sony Earbuds vs. Sennheiser PC155s

Nice setup by the way.

They've been able to do that for a while. Mine detests trying to activesync with bluetooth (Will they fix it, for the love of god!)
The difference is for Firefox I bet we see a patch within a week, and a fix in the trunk within 2 days.
With IE, god only knows how long it may take.
Windows 2001 to Windows XO, comes before XP.
That's nice dear.

FIRE ZE MISSILES!
Dammit, now I'm gonna have to find it again!
Under the landing pad for Opportunity. Where else?
Nearly. Last time I heard anything ms.com was running off Unix boxen.

83% of statistics are made up on the spot.
They didn't. Apple (Music) complained.

If two objects are in thermal equilibrium with a third object, all three objects are in thermal equilibrium.
