    since Earth is one giant sphere and not a bunch of clumps of dirt flying through space, more ultraviolet light will strike Earth-based than comet-borne clay. The surface area exposed to space will be greater on Earth.
    Last time I looked, the same mass broken into a number smaller pieces has, assuming a similar shape, a greater surface area to volume ratio than it would as one large lump.

    I'm sure a Student's t-test would show this to be quite statistically significant.
    Leaving aside the question of significance level (anything is significant at some level) and whether it would be one or two tailed, it's the wrong kind of test to use for nominal/category data. Still, somebody seems to think you knew what you were talking about.

    I meant that the age at which people (or should I say, children) are being exposed to music gadgets
    The age is going so low it's negative? Is there some kind of intra-uterine iPod on the market? Your post implied Lamarckism, and AeroIllini was 100% right to call you on it. If what you mean and what you write aren't congruent, that's your fault, not the readers'. Got it?
