Does anyone remember the PS2 launch? Anyone at all? Same pile of shit, different console. Ahh, and look at how the PS2 crashed and burned...riiight.
When the PS2 was launched it's main competition was the N64, which was winding down, and the Dreamcast with cashed strapped Sega. Now Sony has launched with the established Xbox360 and the red hot sales of the Wii.
I wonder how many people that complain about the 360 emulation have actually used any other emulators before, especially newly released ones? Most of the time they are slow, glitchy, and lots of games don't work yet. It usually takes the authors years to get near perfect emulation up and running. On each release some games will work better, and some may get worse. It's really the nature of the beast. To this day there still isn't a completly perfect NES emulator, that should tell you something.
There is a lack of dedicated servers for many of the games. Most games are hosted on a home broadband connection which usually does not have the upload capacity to hold many people in a game. You are essentially paying to host games with questionable quailty rather than paying for good hosts.
I guess that in the year 2010 most TV sets in homes will be cheap digital sets that barely do anything above 480p very well. The high def big screens will always be out of the price range of most people.
I was somewhat interested in it before because I loved the S.F. Rush games on the N64 and DC. But now I'm not so sure I want to buy something with MTV all over it.
Actually they worked on the other consoles too. Like Mega Turrican on the Genesis/Mega Drive, and BallBlazer Champions and Star Wars Rebel Assault 2 on the Playstation.
Why did they quit making Turrican games anyways?
Try playing a first person shooter with the PS2 controller. It'll make the GameCube controller seem like a heaven sent.
Anyways Katamari works well on the PS2 controller because of the symmetric analog sticks. Your thumbs have to move precisely in unison which would be difficult on other controllers.
Is it just me or do most of those games sound like cut down Playstation2 games? Nothing there really makes me want to go out and spend 250 bucks on the PSP. Too bad the Nintendo DS is having similar problems.
Okay out of hundreds of games available for the Game cube, you are paranoid about TWO GAMES! You should avoid the Playstation 2 and Xbox now because I saw a Barbie game advertised for them.
First game to get console FPS controls perfectly. Goldeneye came in a close second, and would've worked if you weren't using button for moving the sight up and down.
That was the default control setup. You can set it so the analog stick aims and the C buttons move forward/back/strafe. There were even double controller setups (one in each hand) to use. Works just fine for console FPS.
Of course the worst way to play a FPS is by using a Playstation controller. The analog sticks on those are too damn insensitive.
That's just the price of the base PSP system. All you get with that is a system and power supply. The value system, which adds a memory stick, headphones, and a soft protective case, will cost between $229-$249. I'm guessing that an extra battery would be most likely be needed, so add to that price and the PSP gets closer to twice the DS price.
You could listen to your whatever music you wanted in the PC and Xbox versions.

I wonder if the definition of violence in the bill will cause a T (teen) rated game to get the 18 sticker?
I wonder if Sony is still going to rely so damn heavily on the GTA francise now? I believe they once had a no sex policy in Playstation games before.
So Goldeneye and Perfect Dark weren't FPS games? Not even the about the released Geist?

Wow, you get to see naked chicks shrunk down into two inches. Now trying to look that close will really make you go blind!
Or most people wouldn't want to be seen riding in a crappy newer Hummers.

I'm guessing that's for the Xbox Live headset.

Firefox has a hard time scrolling the pages. On IE it's a little bit better. Gee go figure.
Well how many iterations of Madden, GTA, Gran Turismo, Tony Hawk, Dynasty Warriors, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, and Halo can people play?
Like it or not, squeals and name recognition sells.

I thought the Wonderswan was only released in Japan and didn't do all that well there.
