Ah, but what percentage of Christians are religious nutjobs forcing their views on everyone in sight and what percentage are rational people who are willing to alter their beliefs when new evidence comes to light? I certainly can't say, but I do agree the former is a lot more vocal...
Funny you should bring this up. If you're interested in a quite realistic story about the eventual necessity of space debris collecting, you may want to check this out.
Where I come from we call that "Argument from Ignorance" pal. The fact that no evidence exists to support something does not prove that something to be false. In addition, if you define to soul to be "non-materialist" as you did in your first paragraph, we have no way of calling *anything* science produces evidence for or against the soul, due to the fact that science is inherently confined to the material world.
The bottom line is that there is absolutely no way to prove or disprove the existence of the soul. This should be obvious from the fact that if it were possible, someone would have done it by now.
Seconded. This is just more undeserved Vista-bashing. This isn't Windows 98; software that doesn't involve hardware drivers just don't cause BSODs anymore. Likely this is a specific codec trying to install some sort of wacky driver to get hardware acceleration.
Forgive me for sounding like a commercial, but I have a watercooled PC myself, and I use MCT-5. Completely non-conductive, plus lubricants and anti-algae and all that other good stuff. It's like $20 for one bottle, which is more than enough for one system. Using water, even distilled water, scares me. Even if it's an irrational fear, for $20 it's well worth the peace of mind.
So yeah, if that's the only thing stopping you from water cooling, go for it! The temps are so incredibly low, and with a windowed case it really looks awesome.
Perhaps, but I'm just speaking from experience. I used to have an on-board RAID5 setup, and I was less than satisfied with my read and write speads, not to mention the CPU usage. I bought an Areca RAID card, and poof, it works flawlessly at great speeds.
However, I do agree that for anything other than RAID5/6, controller cards are crazy overkill.
Cowboy Bebop is in fact being rereleased as a remastered version. Supposedly, it's finally free of that damn rainbow effect that plagued the previous encodes. (and it's totally on my shopping list)
What, did they have to put "(wink wink)" in there for you to get that they're being sarcastic? Lighten up dude.
[SPOILERS]
On another note, if there really is anyone who hasn't downloaded it yet, TFA just unloaded a massive spoiler onto them by showing the name of Rufus in the cast list. Seeing him alive was one hell of a OMGWTF moment for me.
Until Microsoft breaks it for you and forces you to fix it.
I'm completely happy with XP and don't plan on upgrading to Vista immediately, but it's a reality that not long after its release, we'll start seeing programs that will only run on Vista.
Putting aside the anime-haters and sub vs dub arguments, this is a MAJOR step in the right direction for anime in the US. Dubbers who actually care about what the already-existing fans think?! Unthinkable. I can only hope more dubbing companies start doing this. I can only imagine how awesome it would be if a popular anime such as Naruto got similar treatment.

For real this time! Seriously! I mean it!

Yeah, for all but RAID5. That you need a real controller for. Onboard will suck up way too much CPU.
Uh, no.0 22

I wonder how many XBox360 games MGS4 is worth?

Fail at recognizing the meaning of existance.
Turing test turing test... Psh. There are better and more accurate ways. Put the thing in front a Go board and we'll see if it's a capable AI or not.
Google vs Microsoft for controlling AOL...
It's like a cosmic battle of good versus evil to control the souls of millions.

TFA clearly says £30 per m^2, not $30. So that's around $50. Still pretty inexpensive for the product though.

Mod parent up for being currently the funniest joke about the half-post and not just coping everyone else by
A way to mod entire stories as "flamebait"
You know, I always wondered... Was that key specifically chosen by an anti-bush advocate? It just seems a little too concidental...
