no problem. . . on second reading of my original post I came off as a little hostile and didn't mean it, I was just bamboozled that one of my favourite games was entirely unknown to other gamers.
which is what we in the industry know as Game Ender Boss.

Lies!
the sequel to Syndicate is Syndicate Wars, which in my opinion is a far superior game (although it was the one I played first, so maybe a little bias)
Syndicate Wars was the shit, and its the only reason I still have my 486dx2 box lying around.
I've never been able to get it to run right on my P450 or my A64:(
I suppose I could try dosbox, but does anyone know if I could still do LAN games of syndicate wars?

I was in like, 2 or 3 of them, but I had the hardest time with staying in the group. I mean, within 2 or 3 weeks of joining everyone just stopped talking to me, it really made me feel left out, I can't figure it out! Do people just not like me or something?
I heard that too and apparently its a loophole in German taxes, where you on'y pay tax on gross earnings of your movie, so basically, his investors invest a lot of money in his movie, he guarantees that it doesn't break even, argh, I forget how they still make money though. . .
His movies should be done by Bob Barker since they're just a copy of The Price is Right. He has to make as much money without going over the break even point.
The interesting thing though, is that The German government ammended that little loophole, so the question is, will he still make crappy movies, or will he try and make better movies since now he has to make money now.
which is exactly why you just forward all mail from the @aol.com to the @imnothandicappedanymore.com inbox, and put the @imnothandicappedanymore.com on your business card, and then just 'can' the @aol.com after enough time has passed to justify doing so.
The problem with your argument is that you say:
sales is the only indication of quality.
you say that later sales made up for launch problems.
the fact of the mater is that they didn't deliver what they said they would.
Don't get me wrong, I'm interested in seeing how well they deliver on the PS3, what is and isn't bullshit is what we should witness before we make any judgements on its launch.
well, assuming there is publicity, RIAA continues its facist tyrade and sues person W for infringing copyrights of songs of company Z. Company Z hears about this and agrees with Company Y and decides to do the exact same thing.
then eventually, we exhaust all Characters on our keyboards then the RIAA moves to a more lucrative language area (read: Japan) and then none of us care because RIAA is out of North America.
on another note, lets play a game: you get one point for every negative connotative fluff you can come up with to portray RIAA as baby eating monster corporation.
Although its pretty cool that they're resorting to video games in an effort to teach the young'ens, I think the best thing to do is have mandatory gym classes all the way up to highschool, and actually fail kids who don't pass the gym class.
I don't know about in the States, but here in Canada the only possible way to fail a kid is if the parents and the teachers agree to "hold them back". WTF!! I know kids in grade 12 that can't even fucking read because of this. Seriously, schools need to crack down and fail kids who are failing, and pass kids who are passing.
Since when does EA make games?? they don't, they publish them. Last I recall Maxis made Sim City. . .
"the slim-ball--bottom-feeding--pond-scum--scurage-of-t he-earth" is actually EA, because that's what publishers do!
Don't support Electronic Arts by buying "their" products, support the developers who make the games you enjoy.
because we all know that Geometry Wars is just graphical mumbo-jumbo without any gameplay in it at all. . .
Just to let you know, I don't own a 360, I'll buy one when they're affordable or atleast come with a little extra, and also, when the decent games start popping up. I looked at the launch lineup and noticed that only a handful of them were actually "next-gen" eg, not already available for xbox, ps2, and PC. what, like PGR3, Condemned, RR6, and Kameo, and PD:Z. The rest were just crappy EA regurgitations.
I may have been excited had Elder Scrolls: Oblivion made it.
either way, It is almost guaranteed that first gen games suck the hind titty, so I'll be happy when 2nd and 3rd are stepping up.

Let me be the first to say that I welcome our new magnetic overlords.
I was in like, 2 or 3 of them, but I had the hardest time with staying in the group. I mean, within 2 or 3 weeks of joining everyone just stopped talking to me, it really made me feel left out, I can't figure it out!

So is anyone actually going to discuss TFA, or just talk about whether or not a gnome can put his wingwong in another gnome's migglewosh?

how about next time you use "15 year-old demographic" to avoid said confusions. . . or how about just the "13-19 demographic" :)
