And OT, but I've been hearing so much about this damn illegal immigrant thing its pissing me off. If the US wants to stop terrorism the first thing they should make sure doesn't happen is people getting into this country without being checked. Whats to stop terrorists from running accross the Mexico border?

GameSetWatch co-editor Brandon Sheffield suggests that a potential dangerous chatroom lurer could post an ad on CraigsList asking children to email him or her to exchange Animal Crossing friends codes. Once the friends code exchange is made, the child can visit the stranger's town and chat, awkwardly, one slow and character-limited line at a time. By the time the child has picked all of the stranger's fruit, bought out the shop, trampled a few flowers and left, the stranger might, in theory, be able to say "what are you weari-"

I don't know about all schools, but mine tends to just throw them away... don't know why. The company my father works for does the same thing with lab equipment (not necissarily that old, and most still functional).

The ones the school throws away are generally very old machines that after being good machines got swapped out of labs and into teacher's rooms where they are hardly used (and are barely usable due to the software they try to cram on them). The electronics teacher tends to try to salvage them either for parts or for an old machine he won't mind frying if a student built interface blows up.
