Honestly, you sound a but like me in the sense that you try new things or atleast try to understand them. That company will die from lack of innovators before you reach 30.
Find another job that has an IT manager that has an open minded.
Thank god I read your comment..... as a 24''something, I still remember "B drive" floppy's" yeah those huge fuckers.... But saying icons are dated is like saying the wheel has been around for ever.. lets get rid of it with something else round...... what are people going to start using? You sir are correct, i hate hipsters honestly and i do dryland dog sledding on a kickbike while wearing 5 toe shoes..... But you've probably never heard of it.......
I got my First computer when i was 8 in 97, i think my family paid about $2000AUD for it, being a 200mhz pentium with mmx, 32mb RAM, 2gb HDD 2mb S3 Video creative labs sound card, 17in CRT monitor and windows 95 PLUS!!! that thing lasted for about 5 or so years before it finally died from sea air causing rust.
Used to play Age of empires and everything for years never had to update it to play a game, hell it even played MW3 (Mechwarrior 3), You never forget your first....
This is something all major Australian retailers do, i've brought products from major retails (JB-HIFI) and the manual had thing actually written on it. Its sad. I think the the retailers think that people are still dumb, and dont know how to use their products so they just repackage them for the next person to buy and have problems with.
I will be very sadden to see a national inquirer in to this pass vs say..... Scientology, which didnt. The Australian public (those who i am friends with at least) are still blinded mostly by marketing from apple and see it as a trendy thing.
This kind of pisses me off seeing as i actually paid for the game, the only reason being DRM that made me think about it, how ever in the end i probably wouldn't have pirated / payed for it as its pretty average and is most likely going to have 200 expansions packs like the Sims.
we should just sue the internet instead, i mean with all those tubes you'd think someone would have clogged them to stop such terrible crimes being committed by now.

i would imagine that "Americans training dozens of kids into becoming terrorists with an expertise in explosives" would be the current headline in Afghanistan.
That is exactly what telstra has done in Australia, the plans them self are horrible for anyone who actualy has a high volume of downloading or needs to be on constantly, and its called NextG over here.
Its a bit of sad state when we Aussies (teachers in this case) look at that and cant take the piss out of themselves. However the teachers that are targeted as such generally do come off as wankers, the only difference is that students have a medium to express how they feel about them with out repercussions, if half the people i knew from school told the teaching staff how they felt about certain teachers they would cop flak from it, but shock horror really.
No really, i have know about this for at least half a month, iirc to the ram is only usuable in highend intel MB's like Asus's Striker board which retails in aust for about 700ish it self.
They really should use those Corsair Flash Voyager Disks, those things take heaps of abuse from me and still work (eg, thrown at co-workers), and 16GB aint something to schoff at either
Isn't the point of any game to advance by playing it? In theory, yes. In practice, a lot of games are poorly tuned for casual players, who want to see the high-level content without having to take a pay cut to grind hours a day.
When you feel you have to cheat (and buying money is cheating) Is buying yen with USD cheating? If not, then why is buying gil with USD cheating? To start with if exchanging/"buying" yen with usd was cheating that would mean that your comparing real life to a game, gil does not exist in the real world as a real world currency, so in truth what you have just compared is apples to oranges.
But yes buying gold/gil/whatever for a game is cheating, as it serves no purpose other then to be use solely in that game and that even though you on some sites can sell gold to the major gold selling sites, it would be worth less to sell it back to them, so in a sense its more of a commodity then a currency.
I thought Edward Snowden was part of the corruption commission...... Or are we just talking financial corruption?
Just smells like marijuana all the time ?
Welcome to Australia, we might even see a speed increase in 5 years.
Will Get my QWERTY keyboard when they pry it from my cold dead Carpal Tunnel'ed hands.

Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, he knows how to update cars and vans apparently.
If women played games and watched more porn then we'd all be on the same level right? Or am still dreaming.....

But really, TPG are the only ISP I know of in Oz that send out infringement notices (purely to cover their arse).

shhhhhhhhh.... you might give Microsoft more ideas for crappy excuses for a game.
