Maxthon is an IE engine based browser with tabs that you could use (better than IE). As for convincing them to change, good luck. I'm not sure what you could do about that.
Actually, its voltage that kills you. It only takes a few millivolts to actually kill a person, but the situation has to be ideal for that to happen. High current is dangerous for various reasons, the most common being that it contracts your muscles and won't let you let go of the wire/object that is electrocuting you.
Some might ask "Why use this when newegg flat out excepts your credit card?"
I see why this could be a very useful service. People, earlier in this thread, were complaining about all their data stored in a central spot (googleplex) and loosing all their CC info (as well as other info) if their google password is comprimised. However, I think it would be safer overall to trust google (for now, seeing how they are not evil - yet) than it would be to store your credit card info in ALL of the sites you shop at (Amazon, Newegg, zipzoomfly, etc). If you store it in one spot you stand less of a chance of having it comprimised, at least thats how I see it.
But what about things like eBay accounts? What if they have bad feedback. OMG, can you imagine how BAD that will make them look. Maybe they should also ban having eBay accounts.
Its good to hear from someone who lived here that there is hope that once I can graduate college (another year) and get out of here there might actually be a semi-enjoyable place to live in this country. I will admit that Erie CAN be nice, especially the lake (spent this past weekend sailing, it was a blast), but the winters here just make it miserable, and that is coming from a person who likes snow - well used to.
This is so simple, you have your good failsafe raid1 setup with 10,000 rpm hard drives for the IMPORTANT data and the rest of your drives are just 7200 rpm drives to store what is not important. Its really easy to determine which drive the data goes to too:
if filename=pr0n
store_on_good_drive else
store_on_slow_drive
Didn't happen to be General Electric did it? They are quite notorious (in a good way) for this, lots of people retire around 50-55 with good plans.
Sorry to inform you, but the Government browses at +4.

Microsoft's software wasnt named Gazzelle or Antelope. That would be just too funny.
Because you are hired by microsoft to make it obvious to all the macboy fans that their system is actually vulnerable as well.

Why waste money cooling a mid range card with liquid when air is just fine
I dont know, I'll bet a microsoft programmer could make him pretty annoying.

Hello, welcome to Slashdot. The bathroom is down the hall to the left.
You and the other 90% of slashdot.
So wait, he makes up 10% of slashdot himself? That's either one big guy or he has a hell of a lot of spare emails and slashdot accounts.
