You ask any bible-thumping conservative and they'll tell you that there is plenty of evidence in support of a supreme being. They use such things as the origin of life, or the complexity of the human body as evidence supporting theiry theory. They don't want to believe such a complex world could have developed by chance, without the guiding hand of a god. Evidence is not proof; Even O.J. knows that.

I don't see science providing proof of their assertions either. Isn't that why we call it the theory of relativity, the theory of evolution, the theory of plate techtonics, etc . . . Where are the peer reviewed journals that proving these theories?

Search for "Oak Hill, FL 32759" on Google Maps.

As Routes 1 & 5 cut SW towards I95, you will see Route 3 (Kennedy Pkwy) extend SSE and head right past the VAB. (Of course you can't get that close). Heading down Route 3, you will come to a bridge that crosses over Haulover Canal (where is says Allenhurst on the map). The road was/is closed beyond the bridge, but there is a little sandy parking lot next to the bridge. It is the same distance as watching from the causeway itself. The road was closed beyond the bridge.

This is where I watched a shuttle launch a few years ago. Unfortunately the only shuttle launch I have ever seen in person. (NJ resident, and yes, it is the greatest state in the Union, regardless of what Trey, or any of you say.)

My wife and I spent the day in St. Augustine, and then headed down to watch the early evening launch. We got down there a few hours early scouting for spots to watch, and came across this place. While waiting for the launch, we walked down to the canal and saw some manatees. Of course, if you're a FL resident you've probably already seen millions of them. I expect it is still accessible.

I can't help you with hotels, but as long as you know what time the shuttle will go off, you probably don't have stay too close.

    Good luck!!

I agree with you to some extent however, there are some signs that merely use retrofreflectivity that can be too bright; No LED's required. It is not always the case that the signs are blindingly bright that you find yourself squinting, rather they are too bright for their surroundings. Like trying to find extrasolar planets. It's not that a particular star is blindingly bright to look at through a telescope, but it is too bright to see any surrounding objects.

In looking at the photo attached to the press release, the lighting scheme doesn't appear to be overly bright.

Once the fad dies down (recall all the neon clothing in the 80's?) it looks like there will be a huge market for it in safety gear. As a cyclist, I would certainly welcome it being built into my jerseys.

Instead of deleting GNAA posts, why not create another filter to prevent them?

Personally I could care less either way. I see the letters GNAA and skip the post, therefore defeating the purpose of it having been posted in the first place.

How about disabling replies to the post? If you get a reply to the post, you know you got someone fired up, therefore you know you got your message across. Without that confirmation, how do you know you are reaching anyone?
