I've just switched from Verizon to Sprint, mainly because of Verizon's changes to data plans which they are forcing current users into. There is little point in sticking around and paying $240+ a month for 3 smart phones and 8 to 10GB of data w/ Verizon. Sprint is $180 a month for 3 smart phones w/ unlimited data. Verizon may be faster but w/ caps so low that's pointless. I can't help but fell that the caps are that low to force you into overages. Sprint is slated to roll out 4G in my area by Q3 2013, i'm guessing when that happens Sprint will be the better deal by far.
If you like an app, pay the dollar or two for the ad free version, other wise you're stealing from the developer of the app, justify it however you like, but it is theft.
You guys are missing something, that isn't a DMCA take down, it's youtube's in house take down system, so Nascar didn't violate the DMCA at all here, it violated it's contract w/ Google.
My soon to be 3 year old nephew can add and remove icons on my mom's phone better than she can, she can't figure out how to change the wallpaper and he'll change it to a different picture of him self every time he gets the phone.
If i hold him while in front of my computer he'll poke at links in chrome by touching my monitor and look at me like why isn't this working.
The Leappad 2 is great, $100 upfront then around $20 or so for the games, not a bad deal.
However, kids learn different ways and while some can use keyboard and mouse, or console controller early on, others can not.
The best thing to do is let them explore on their own, within reason of course.
Move to rural America and tell me you don't have to drive, even the Amish have to use horse and buggies to get around, so even the Amish have to drive. Also if you look at the help wanted ads you'll notice the job listings say drivers license and reliable transportation required, so it seems i have to drive and own a car to be able to find work.
Railworks 3 on steam has $1561.15 worth of DLC and you know more than just someone bought all of that. Giving away the base game and selling DLC is a sound idea.
This question was asked before as I recall. I currently use the Netgear WNDR3700 router w/ Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/14/11) std. It's been pretty solid for me. It's dual band(2.4 and 5.0 Ghz) so you can use your current bridges just fine.
As far as USB adapters go, I got a few WUSB600N refurbished for around $30 each, though I haven't any issues w/ any of them at all. For laptop upgrades I very much like the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defense_of_the_Ancients is the 1st thing that comes up when you google DotA. See, that's what adults do, when they don't know what something is they look it up, not expect to be spoon fed.
The comments on BFG power supplies at newegg pretty much confirm this. "Other Thoughts: RMA'd to BFG, got approved, paid for shipping, then received it back in the mail with a statement, "BFG Technologies, Inc. is winding down and liquidating its business." Dead product returned without repair/replacement." Dated 8/13/2010, little over 2 days ago.
I wonder if XFX is right behind them, I have a few of their video cards that I bought for the life time warranty....
I've posted this else where today, might as well post it here.
People are up in arms over this one, most people seem to think that they are safe and/or anonymous behind their chosen internet handle. However this is not the case. As a TF2 server Admin I have seen many trolls get blown away when their personal info is posted in response to their trolling posts. Just by Googling the Handle some people use, you can start to gather pieces of personal information, email, phone numbers, real names, places, jobs, etc can be found in a matter of minutes, one piece of information leading to another, which leads to another, and so on until you have a complete picture of someone.
You are not now nor have you ever been anonymous on the internet. With this change, adults will be expected to act as adults. If you don’t want the public to know what you are up to, don’t post it on the public internet, it seems rather simple to me.
It isn't GPS, it's WAAS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wide_Area_Augmentation_System which is an "air navigation aid developed by the Federal Aviation Administration to augment the Global Positioning System (GPS), with the goal of improving its accuracy, integrity, and availability. Essentially, WAAS is intended to enable aircraft to rely on GPS for all phases of flight, including precision approaches to any airport within its coverage area."
The game is really good, I'm still playing through the Human Fighter story line, but, the game has a bug where it will start to eat CPU and the FPS will drop to unplayable levels, you can just wait it out and it will return to normal, but, despite that, I am still playing it, the story is that good.
Look at the difference between L4D and TF2, if you are going to do stuff like that match maker in L4D, don't even bother with dedicated servers, I do not wish to provide welfare servers, as such was the case w/ L4D, w/ no way to see return players who may have an interest in seeing the server grow and donating to keep it going.
PC FPS gamers are a different bunch then console FPS gamers. I do suspect that this has more to do w/ the game being modded then anything else, not too sure why that would do that, it is one of the bigger drawls for PC FPS games.

Of course having a group of people working together is a strength. If you are having a bad day or just feel like slacking off some one else is there to pick up the slack and keep the project moving.

There really hasn't been all that much worth downloading as of late. You can only download the classics so many times, the new content coming out just isn't all that good, be it games, movies or music. I'm sure we'll see a small up tick when the new Star Trek movie hits the underground though.
Let them do it, this will lead to higher prices for Wyoming consumers.
Paul Thurrott is normally delusional when it comes to Microsoft, so telling other people they can't be delusional is rich.

I wonder if the Intel Fanboys have udders, because Intel sure is trying to milk them.

Who is Michael Pachter and why is anyone supposed to care what he thinks?
Did anyone see the movie Supervolcano? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supervolcano_(TV_movie)

Dish Network's latest encryption scheme, dubbed Nagra 3, has not yet been cracked by satellite TV pirates." Not true, N3 is partially cracked.
