Except this is just 1 multiplayer match. C&C campaigns took hours to beat, but the single player mode can be saved. Even then, the hardest of maps didn't take 10 hours to beat (atleast, not for me).
Online multiplayer can't really be saved, then resumed.
I do Aikido bokken and Iaido (sword drawing), and I agree: swords aren't all that heavy, especially if you are using the whole body correctly. Granted, in Iaido it's switching between 1 and 2 hands on a 3 lb sword.
What I've found to be worse than the weight is if it's not balanced well (like some of the cheap training ones). It's nothing to add another pound right at the grip, but add a couple of extra ounces at the tip and everything (technique and energy) gets messed up. Since the Wii controller is just a controller (and not 3 feet long), then this isn't really an issue.
If they are soldiers (and therefore employed by the government), then isn't it more like "Privateer"?
If you want to talk about PR scandals, how about when the RIAA goes after a KIA soldier while the family is greiving their loss? (I'm not trying to justify it, just saying)
People who want Nintendo to destroy the competition are morons.
I agree with this statement. Remember how the PS2 was released in Japan way before in America (and many Japanese games still follow this pattern)? If I remember right there was either little or no gap between when the DS and PSP came out in Japan and North America. And there isn't going to be a gap when the PS3 and Wii come out.
If nothing else, I feel like one of Xbox's most notable contribution to PS/Nintendo fans in the US is that we get our new game systems sooner.
The Aristotle's Physics are wrong (we use Newtonian Physics now), but they were accepted as the going theory for thousands of years.
How many revisions has the model of the atom gone through? Now you can't even quite draw it, you just write it as an equation.
Science doesn't have the answer to everything. There is a reason why they call it a "theory." It's because the guys smart enough to come up with the idea in the first place are smart enough to know they don't know enough to call it a "fact."
I don't want to open another can of worms on here, but I see myself in between the two sides. People like to look at it as black and white, creationism or evolution. They like to say that they can't co-exist, but I disagree (no, I am not going to explain it here, it'd take too long).
While early spam might have been more legit (in that it was actually advertising a respectable product), my theory is that most spam now-a-days is prompted by the same motives that virus writing is (that is, something like satisfaction in hurting / discomforting others). Considering that a lot of the spam is coming from zombie computers (infected by a virus), I don't think my theory may be partially correct.
If you can't track down a cause for the problem, the best you can do is explain to them the limitations of the product and product development, etc. If they are saying the product is unresponsive when it's just being a little slow, then that's not going to work. If it really becomes a big problem, you may need to refer them to the engineering team.
Just hope the engineer doesn't say "I'm a people person, damnit!"
I didn't bother with the GBA FF1. When I saw my friend playing it and saw they switched to using MP instead of the original spell level system, it was removed from my to-buy list.
Agreed. It's like what they had at a college bar near my university. If you were of age, you paid $5 to get in. If you were under age, you paid $15. Once inside, there was no carding.
It's just something that makes it more expensive for youngsters to buy them. Nothing more.

No word yet on the Colbert Report, but rumor has it that Stephen has been interviewing for Tony Snow's job.
Unfortunately, he failed to get the job as he ran screaming from the interview while being chased by a very old woman (who was just walking).
Considering that Fox news and Gerraldo are taking pot shots at them, I worried the same thing.
(well, when I saw the headline yesterday)
You downplay the importance of those semantics.

It's in Sweden. Net Neutrality doesn't directly affect it.
Two years? It's still largely the same game from 2000.

Nooo, take the Red Pill!
I've been in that situation, and it's not fun.

And if your GPU cost $17,500, it wouldn't take much (assuming big LCD and other insane hardware) to pass the 20k mark.
Your computer costs more than your car.
(not mine, off of a shirt I got from the ACM club at college; they also had something about Doom and a 12 step program).
We did, and we've concluded that they are good source of revenue.. er, it's for their own good.

... I'm busy training to be a professional gamer.
Don't your remember High School physics?
Nothing sucks. Everything blows.
It just means your time is ticking before you won't be able to get the bills.
You at least have the lucky dime, right?
Powering these laptops will be no sweat.
I mean, these children of the 3rd world already know how to power a sewing machine as they've (sadly) worked in sweat shops all their lives.
Then it's probably a pretty leaky Wii...
(had to be said)
These guys were kicked out of the gene pool thousands of years ago. Don't risk letting them back in!
It has stopped raining chairs.
At the prices ive seen suggested for this system, its going to more liek 350% of some world territories.
Those bushmen don't need a PS3. They've got their coke bottle!
