I myself run a wireless network in my apartment so that myself and my roommate can get online without running feet upon feet of wire. I have my network pretty well secured so that the only way someone was leeching off of it, is if they were purposely trying to get access to my computers or free internet. However, my roommate and I do occasionally pop onto someone elses wireless connection in our apartment complex. This is either because they are not computer literate and do not know that other people could be using there wireless for free, or they just don't care that someone else is on it. I know I would be a bit pissed if I found myself being arrested and doing jailtime, because my wireless network card sniffed out someone elses open network and connected to that. It is not my fault, that they allow there system to be open to the public. Now, I know this kid probably was doing it on purpose, finding an unprotected network to mooch from. He should not have to be fined and serve jailtime because of these peoples ignorance. Though if he hacked into the network and cracked any WEP encryptions, then yes he should pay the consequences.
You can't really call it lost though. They know where it is, they just forgot about it. Lost is like being marooned on an island with no one knowing where you are.
"PlayStation 3 will succeed because of the great product it is"
Are they so sure? Have they had the chance to play it? I am also guessing they hadn't hear about the whole overheating issue. I foresee a lot of recalls like the Sony batteries. I for one will not buy a PS3 until 2008 when hopefully the prices drop and the bugs are fixed.
GTA series has trained me to effectively car-jack someone. It has taught me my superb sniping skillz. Lastly, it has help me represent myself as a major crime lord, that is capable of corrupting politics & government/state/federal agencies in my community.
The thing that I'm not understanding is. What possessed him to shoot his parents and sibiling? There always has to be a motive. If I kill someone in GTA:VC, it's to get some cash from the pimps and car from from an elderly lady. Maybe poppin a cap in some cops ass, because he's got a problem with my small wants. So did this 14 yr old kill his pimp father for some money. Did he knock off his stepsister cause he knocked her up? Or was his stepmother really the succubus all claimed? A video game is not a motive, it would be a weapon.
Yeah. That's pretty dumb I think. It will ultimately ruin any fun factor of the game as well as ruin any comic book storylines. "Then Wolverine shows up with 2,000 of his clones to fight Magneto and his 21,002 clones. Who will survive and who will die?" again...dumb idea.
Yeah, only to be destroyed again by another catostrophic hurricane. They need to first invest all this great technology into better protecting the city from flooding again. Think about the safety of the community, then bother with the expensive upgrades for entertainment.
I have been talking to employees about this today, and I even said that I think this guy is actually just a nut-case so involved with the story that he believes he is the one who commited it. Not just does he have an alibi with his ex-wife, but I also read that his brother was in town that week visiting him.
Now you can't remember it as "My very elegant mother just served us nine pies". It would instead be "My very elegant mother caught Jack singing us naughty pussy/coochie...2003UB"
Is anyone curious at all as to where he even got them? I mean it's not like you can go to your local bank or Wal-Mart and get them. What'd he do, break into Ft. Knox?
Well, those other planets may harbor terrorist. The only logical thing is that we invade and we destroy them. This way Iraq & Iran won't be the only place harboring terrorists; that is being destroyed and Earth won't be the only planet being destroyed by mankind. But that is the only logical thing we can do.
Oh. I noticed sex wasn't listed, and I also noticed he did the raiding on the weekends. Isn't the weekends the "socializing" time? That's when the partying goes down? I live in a major college town and I'd much rather spend my weekends away from the apartment and spend two days during the week at home playing, at most 2 hours a night. Then again, I have never done a raid.
Maybe they are tricking Microsoft in some crazy way. Maybe there is more that they aren't saying, just saying they found this one issue, so that now Microsoft will work harder in that area, and not overlook the whole product before release.
I don't do that any more, I only use my powers for good.
"...like most IT pros, its not about when the next OS will be released, it is about having the OS work."
Yeah, you first have to release the patch to patch the patch that patched the patch before the patch. Once the patches are in place, you gotta patch those. Then the OS might work. If not, patch it again.
How about a blow up sheep?
I found one even more expensive on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/SONY-PLAYSTATION-3-PS3-60GB-PR EMIUM-SYSTEM-PREORDER_W0QQitemZ270054974671QQihZ01 7QQcategoryZ62054QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZView Item
Mr Cheo said software tools are available for download that can track who is using a network and what they are doing on it.
Most routers also have a log so you can see what sites what users are accessing and the times they are accessing them.

Quick! Someone fix it!

I really wouldn't call it a sequel. More like an expansion pack.

That is if PS3 does ever make it out by 2011.

I think the sword was a real sword, not from a video game.

Parents are afraid their children will call it child abuse.

That is still an invalid percentage. If we are to talk about World of Warcraft players addicted to masturbation, it would be around 80%

Yep. Let the patching begin.....now.

This is true, I'm just comparing the overacting of characters.
