The Nimda *linux* connection
There's a very interesting article detailing the theory that the nimda virus was developed by someone using linux here. Basically, it says that the way the binary was laid out hints at a certain set of tools common on linux.

an answerThat's funny... it's been down for a week now and you've been the first to ask. Although I recall seeing something in two-oh-seven-two-one about scheduled downtime, one wonders how long it takes to turn the server upside down and shake the screen clear.
It's a fun idea and all, but I'd kill for some content. Otherwise it's like these Magic Eye things that you stare at for a half-hour but can never get to work. Maybe my eyes just suck.

Why attack someone like that? Hmm, maybe they were just bored like most of the other /. readers. After all, what's the point of the pagewidening? Surely that servers no purpose other than amusing the individual who posted it?
I like you. You are my friend. Can I write about you in my diary?
