Btw, Why not automatically create a mirror on mirrordot and link it here? Why do we need a nerd to search for the mirrordot link if we have enough nerds to fix a small problem like this? -
MirrorDot has it ...

Mirror
For those not already in the know about MirrorDot, the non-slashdotted version is here.
Posting as AC so not karma whoring. -

About all the negative comments towards post-nuke
I know what you're thinking.
PHP-Nuke and Post-Nuke really aren't that bad, everyone here is just exaggerating, it's obviously just his provider.
Yes, there's some truth in that. But even Mirrordot couldn't get a copy of the site before it went down.
I think that perhaps we may have hit a new stage in the evolution of the "slashdot effect". Servers are now anticipating it and balking in fear of impending doom. -
Re:Coral Cache, just in case...
Your link is currently 404 compliant.
Well damn! I loaded the whole thing via the coral cache while it was still in the mysterious future... I figured Coral would get a handle on it before it went down... I guess not.
Damn. There's always mirrordot.com I suppose... -

Re:2 posts and it's...
Mirrordot link here. /.ed already? -
Then make it a Real Link with url:
/. inserts spaces into long strings of text. There is a space in both of the links as posted. They will not work unless you take them out. Your link worked because you used it before posting, without the space.
Click on this link instead of doing the copy-and-paste thing:

Or how about mirrordot?
Or how about mirrordot? Doesn't always mirror pages accurately (page design-wise) but its pages are often up when the others are not, so us link-clicking Slashdotters should see the source more of the time, no?
I personally prefer a mirror link to a torrent download of some unknown zip/html/etc on some tracker that might be pulled thanks to RIAA/MPAA/**AA's arbitrary reasons. (Not that mirrordot can be authenticated either.)

Re:Statistics
Speaking of statistics, i'm looking at a mirrordot version of the apple statistics (due to site being down from the
./ effect) and see that Safari is the browser of choice, with a + or - value of 5,059.56%.
So, doesn't that mean that Safari is being used somewhere between 0% usage and 100% usage?
The only thing i can tell for certain from that statistic is that IE6 is used no more than 18.43% of the time (8.26 +/- 10.18), aside from that, the other values all have a +/- of 100% or more. -
Mirrors Here
Looks like their server is clobbered. MirrorDot has the mirrors.

After I RTFAed...
Thanks mirrordot!
Tiwana and Keil were asking MIS directors what *they* thought, not project managers or developers, leading me to believe that this is more based on client perception than someone with experience working on said projects.
That said, they ranked changing requirements last when talking about risk of failure, and actually said that inappropriate methodology was the top reason of project failure.
Now, while a lack of any sort of methodology is a disaster waiting to happen, I have a difficult time believing that a bad fit for a project creates more risk than project complexity and shifting requirements combined, as they suggest.
*sigh*
Do you really believe that a client is going to place shifting requirements as a risk? After all, they're the ones asking for the changes!
