It's purely a hate/descrimination web site and the domain name is owned by a known white supremacist organization. But the kids that find sites like these view them as if they are fact! Kids don't do a whois search. It doesn't even enter into their minds that someone would post misleading and false information on the web. A simple Google search turns up all sorts of "information" that points to this "factual" website.

Part of me needs to block it, but kids need to see this stuff too, otherwise they'll leave school and suddenly vast swaths of the web are now "unhidden" and they won't know what to believe. Maybe I don't give kids enough credit, but it's a troubling thought that our censorship of the web might be doing more harm in the long run, and I'm a part of that.

People who think there is basically no difference between offshore outsourcing and labor importation need to think a bit more carefully.

It is one thing to transfer a person between nations. It is another thing to transfer a job between nations.

There are some things they have in common of course. For example, industries with substantial national security implications need to avoid importing labor as well as exporting jobs, for obvious reasons, and there are more industries with substantial national security implications than the globalists are willing to admit. Moreover such irresponsible globalism is more pervasive than many detractors of globalism may think. Even the "White Nationalist FAQ" at a leading white nationalism site is insistent that "labor markets are global" and does not see any particularly important security implication to exporting industries wholesale if that is what global competition demands. According to traditional political axes this is impossible. If even an openly and racially nationalist organization cannot protect industries with national security implications, it says something is seriously out of whack with the political axes used to map ideas against real world concerns.

Having said that, the importation of labor is a more serious problem than is exportation of jobs for the simple reason that, just as possession is 9/10ths of the law, residency is 9/10ths of citizenship. Integrity of citizenship is important to the world for the simple reason such integrity is the source of all knowledge about what works and what doesn't work in social organization. When citizenship ceases to represent the principles upon which a society is founded, the experiment represented by that society is destroyed and consequent events in it are uninterpretable. Experiments need controls and if there is one thing we learned from the Enlightenment and Protestant Reformation it is that revelation must be accompanied by experimentation.

The American Experiment has already been severely disrupted by early 20th century immigration from portions of Europe that supported theocracy during the Protestant Reformation and Enlightenment. This resulted in the centralization of powers during the 20th century replacing the laboratory of the States with strong central governmental control, in direct contravention of the 10th Amendment to the Constitution. This then resulted in the immigration liberalizations of the last half of the 20th century and the present condition in which massive amnesty programs for illegal immigrants are routinely proposed and passed as a means of importing not only labor but voters and activists from cultures that have no history of successfully resisting theocratic rule. I agree that Google's own filtering is OK - for one thing, almost by definition they do it to improve the search engine, rather than to achieve some nefarious goal. However, the exclusion of Stormfront's pages from the German view only? Given the nature of their site (a "White Nationalist Resource Page", for those too scared or monitored to look for yourselves), I suspect very strongly this is the result of German government censorship. I expect either Google did it themselves, to prevent attacks from the German government, or they were forced to do so by said government.

It's possible this is some sort of moral judgement by Google themselves - except then, why would they suppress the site only from the German view, not the main index?! No, this smells to me very much like government censorship; Germany's approach to free speech seems to be "Say what you want. As long as it doesn't promote political views we don't like, question our official version of history..."

Any idea brought forth in an open society is exposed to criticism. If I claim to be able to make psychic predications, it should come as no suprise that many people will seek to prove otherwise, or just outright laugh at me. If I want to make a statement that I believe blue shirts cause violence, people are going to want to see statistics and evidence, right? No rational person would believe such things without evidence. It is up to you, the reader, to study the facts and decide for yourself what is true and what is false. This is your right. You don't have to believe things that are obviously false, no matter what people in power tell you.

Fortunately we have the freedom to criticize many ideas today. Almost no idea is censored in modern western countries. The few extreme elements of society like drug-users, pedophiles, and homosexuals are each day considered more and more mainstream, and many of their ideas are becoming the "norm." But while countries work to legalize things like prostitution and drug usage, at the same time they make stricter and stricter laws against so-called "hate speech."

Why? Why is information about White Pride censored when virtually anything else is published openly? Why can any idea be exposed to criticism except when it has to do with race?

The fact is Jews, liberals, and people in power know exactly what the message of White pride means and how powerful it is. Unlike their attempts at social engineering, our message is based on fact and reason. This is what makes it dangerous to them. When people see the evidence, and evaluate the facts for themselves, they will come to the same conclusions that other informed White people have. No amount of Jewish lies will stop the truth. So what should you do about this? Open your mind, and visit White Pride web sites like the National Alliance, White Civil Rights, and Stormfront. Get a copy of David Duke's My Awakening. Read what they have to say and make your own conclusions -- does what they say agree with the evidence available? Have your own experiences verified what they are saying? No one is going to tell you what to think, because it is up to you to make your own decisions.

Stormfront's current main issue isn't even related to their usual "white pride" stridency. It's about US foreign policy. Their big point is that the US is being drawn into a war in the Middle East because of US support of Israel. They argue that Arab anger at the US revolves around US support of Israel. Thus, they want the US to reduce support of Israel and not go to war with Iraq. That's a political position. It's not hate speech.

I'm sorry, but racists, sexists, and homophobes are outright scum! If someone actively goes out of their way to tell people that 90% of the world's population should be enslaved or that the best thing they can do is kill someone because of their skin color, religion, ethnic background, immigration status, sexual orientation, disability, etc., they have forfeited their rights to free speech.

They deserve no rights to spread their violence-inducing propaganda against the most disadvantaged of society through sites such as Stormfront.

There is no positive aspect to hate speech, and many of its defenders are closet racists themselves. Those who would claim the supremeacy of "free speech" obviously believe that James Byrd or Matthew Shepard deserve no legal protection against racists and homophobes, and such vile hatemongers should be tolerated. Hate speech is an abuse of free speech and that people's lives are more important than the right of someone to publicly encourage others to target certain groups for a campaign of murder, rape, assault and terror.

Words may not hurt, but when people begin acting on the words of hate speech spreading like cancer on the internet, then the damage is done. Free speech shouldn't endanger people's lives. One can't yell "Fire!" in a crowded theatre, because people will probably get hurt trying to get out.

Hate speech acts in the same way - by trying to make certain kinds of people seem less than human and by glorifying violent acts against them - it's just a matter of time before a follower or supporter of a hate group puts words into action.

Why do you think that it is "rather unlikely" that freedom of speech will be seriously impaired in western nations? In Nordrhein-Westfalen, a state in germany, several sites such as Stormfront.org and also rotten.com are blocked at the DNS and router level. Sites like Indymedia will be next, because they have open posting and therefore occasionally post illegal material.

There is most definitely a need for an anonymous and decentralized information exchange system even in western "democracies".

Compare the reproduction rate of blacks and other non-whites to the reproduction rate of whites in formerly white countries like the USA. The black welfare mother having nine children isn't just a stereotype, it's a fact. It is only a matter of time until non-whites are the dominant power in countries founded by europeans. Now take a look at the voting statistics and see who the non-whites vote for... it is always the left wing candidate. The American Nazi Party was a joke. The Klu Klux Klan is moribund. McCarthyism ended up with McCarthy out of power. The Communist Party of the United States limped along for decades as a fringe group. (They're still there! "Workers of the World, Log In") David Duke and Stormfront are pushing white separatism, while the Nation of Islam is pushing black separatism. None of these have ever been a threat to the country. One must ask the question: "Why are so many technological advances (e.g., echelon, carnivore, street cameras) being coupled with so many bad laws (UCITA, DMCA, incl Napster and MS rulings)?", and again, the answer seems to be that power begets power, ever ratcheting itself up to higher and higher levels through power acquisition. Here we see the mechanism by which power is obtained: again, in the Gulag Archipelago, the budding country needed powerful laws to effect its sweeping changes, so it came up with Article 58, which was very broadly stated and vague. The technology they used back then was the technology of persuasion (i.e., torture) to - in what must have somewhat inspired Orwell! - elicit confessions and enable the police to nab anyone at any time.

Now we have this all-encompassing DCMA law and technologies like carnivore ready to enforce it. They go hand-in-hand, of course, and play into each other. We need Carnivore to enforce the DMCA; we need street cameras to prosecute the drug war (and helicopters and militia and battering ram tanks and don't get me started); we need the Maser gun to break up the riots. It is kind of a "military industrial complex" of law enforcement, and Disney wants it, and MS wants it, and Monsanto wants it - all to secure the revenue stream for their interests!

I want a government limited in its power over people, but with enough power derived from the people to keep the corps properly regulated. But its not working that way.
