you make excellent points but miss mine. i just found it funny that the original poster would use kde, which leans on the workarounds you yourself outlined, as a reason _not_ to "call for the death" of c++.
When I wrote up my Engines of Creation column for August 12th with a focus on Dr. Richard Bartle's Designing Virtual Worlds, I had no idea it was the closest thing to an independent review the book had yet received and that i would be able to use slashdot to get people to read it.
i don't have much sympathy for this character. thinking that people owe you things is a dangerous way of thinking. blatantly disregarding possible negative outcomes of license choice is even more foolish.
the childishly worded tell off doesn't help. oh yes, we will burn with desire, and the world will indeed be desolate without your new shell.
i think that anyone who cares about Free Software should be offended by this.
in short, good luck with the job thing, and take the necessary steps to avoid having the door striking any part of your body on your way out.
find a good used record store in your area that lets you listen to discs before you purchase them. you can now listen to cd quality audio of a wide variety of artists, and purchase albums for less than 10 dollars.
But the stupid names they chose for everything. "Whistler," "Scud" and "Blade" must defeat the "Reapers" with the help of the "Bloodpack" of the "Vampire Nation."
blade is based off a comic book. this would support the writers' use of these names.
Why isn't adult swim funny anymore?
you must be new here.
me neither.
will there still be dialog?
that could be a deal breaker.
man man

wow, the matrix is awesome when there's no plot or dialogue.
TIE is an acronym for Twin Ion Engine. How did you get a user account here without knowing that?
i liked this show when it was called reboot

...i thought "that thing you never read" was the linked article.
are you insane? the kids who are are whining about how jumping is ruined in the newest counterstike patch are hardly out smashing windows all night.
note how they call themselves the FSF, not the FHF.
think about it.

if you're having trouble getting a job, make sure you didn't accidentally use the words freaking and retarded in your resume.
and i was hoping to pass some classes this semester. oh well.
This marks the first time the whining and bitching of slashdot users has actually had a tangible effect on the real world! Rejoice!
But wait! Think of the larger implications! If we keep this up, Microsoft will just give up one day and shut their doors! I know it!
Congratulations.
they are referring to the solid snake action figure, put out by macfarlane toys. does anyone read the links around here?
a friendly reminder: the g4 is just a g3 with an altivec 128-but vector processing unit. afaik there are no further differences.
linux say: relax
And Hollywood hasn't yet even heard of nano-technologies.
ahem. virtuousity?
luckily the smashing pumpkins were on hand to tape a moon launch of a rocket contstructed by young kids in a backyard. they put it in a video.
