Convenience is the only difference between using the app versus the old way. This app does not make the streets less safe somehow.

If that were to be granted it would be the most glaring example of the failure of the patent system.

I don't know how it works there, but here (Canadia) if you're forcibly admitted to a psychiatric institution (because you're a danger to yourself and/or others)you can only leave when the docs say you can. Rehab centers you can leave whenever you want because they are always voluntary (even if court forces you to go, you can decline and sit in jail instead).

However, if you voluntarily admitted yourself to such an institution, then you can leave when you wish. Perhaps it's the same thing in China and these internet addiction rehab centers are considered psych wards and not a regular rehab center?

At least in I Dream of Jeannie there was an explanation for the weird stuff, she's a Genie. Same goes for Bewitched and that audio-visual abortion with the blond chick, her aunts and the talking cat in which they're all witches.

In LOST you had a bunch of freaky stuff that, to quote the writers, "will be totally explained in scientific terms" but wasn't even explained at all. They explained the flash sideways creatively, the limbo idea was neat, it would have been a nice season finale, not series finale. I didn't want a wiki detailing everything, but at least a hint of what the frack was going on would have been nice, even if they would have copped out at the end by saying that Jacob was just a Genie. That way I would have been less disappointed.

Quake 2 was fairly popular for modding as well, multiple utilities are available online as well as the actual source code of the game in case you want to get really creative.
