It surely can't be long now before we're all streaming the latest blockbuster movies to our laptops on the commuter train home?
Not those of us living in the US. Surely you don't expect this technology to come to America any time soon. We are always the last to get the really cool stuff.
Seems to me that every piece of modern technology we have was at one point considered scientific fantasy with countless people declaring that it would never work. Space flight, cell phones, computers, telephones, airplanes, electricity, radio, recorded sound. Every single one of them had problems that could 'never be solved'. And guess what? They were solved.
If you had been at Kitty Hawk, you would have been yelling that the glider would never fly. And as it passed over your head, you would start claiming that they would never get it down.
I didn't think "I, Robot" was that bad. They just shouldn't have tried to associate it with Isaac Azimov. Apparently the original title of the script was "Hardwired". They should have kept it that way.
Are you not familier with biofeedback training? People can learn to control thier heartbeat and galvanic skin response. A few days of using this thing and the steady eye movements will start coming.
If you have a computer that can read lips, you won't be able to hide the fact that you are going to shut it down and it will kill your entire crew before you get to jupiter.
It's decent. Pretty big world, good crafting system, lots of stuff to kill. There is a market for used items. Lots of races to play as, including Dragons which have thier own crafting system. Of course I havn't played it since the beta.
Got a ROCKET in my POCKET!

If you are going to debate the con side of this issue please produce facts not emotions.
;)
I would say that if you are going to debate on either side of any issue, you should produce facts, not emotions.

I may hate AOL, but I have to admit that if they aren't going to support it, then Sender-ID is dead.
THAT is how recipies need to be laid out, with those kinds of charts. SO much frickin' easier to understand.
Too bad I don't have an X-Box
Or rather it will when one comes out that actually tracks your eyes instead of your entire head.

Till they make a version with force feedback?
Umm... since always dude. That's centimeters, not inches
Damn, you beat me to it.
Isn't hydrogen already transparent?

Until some geek (probably a /.er) who works at a developing station releases the private key onto the internet.
I thought Greg Dean was getting his own TV series.
spammers/telemarketers may take this advantage for themselves.
May?
