If gmail had filtering that allowed NOT operands, I would have 0 spam. All spam comming to my account is to someone with a similar name@gmail.com. If I could filter using "if to is not myaddress then send to trash", everything would be dandy.

    Recommend that feature to them.

I never understood why they didn't use IP's or DNS entries to tell if a new article was ready.

    For instance,
They could use a dynamic dns entry. The client would poll the ip of some domain until the ip changed. After a change, the client would go get the new article from some other ip. This wouldn't be very good for small timespans between articles since, looking at my no-ip domain, it takes about 5 mins between updates.

Or, the RSS client gets the current "waiting" ip at the first poll. Then, it tries to connect to this waiting ip. The waiting ip will not respond until a new article is ready. Then, the waiting ip is incremented/changed. Or something like that. I don't know much about networking, so, I don't know who would get the bandwidth bill.

    Or something similar.

    Any comments?

Japan, Korea, and many other Eastern countries have very strick EMC regulations, so, it's garanteed that these were tested before being sold. Although, they could have pulled out some components and shielding for US moduls to reduce cost, since we don't realy have any standards besides a complaint based and 'what the customer accepts as quality' system.

It's too bad they didn't include the capacitance of the cells. You might need quite a few to blink something big like a road light.

One concern I have is, if the capacitor is fully charged (voltage across plates equals voltage coming from solar cell), then, won't it not be able to charge anymore? Wouldn't the current flow to the cap (therefor output) be maximized if you *didn't* let them charge?

If it only helps at increasing efficiency for low light, then, more power to them. tehe.

That's what I did for a while. Don't like soda, didn't like coffee, so I'd just bite off a quarter of a 200mg caffeine pill. MUCH cheaper than buying drinks just for the caffeine. $2.00 for a Starbucks doubleshot, or $4.00 for a 20 count of 200mg pills.

You just gotta be carefull to not pop the whole pill cause it's there. The big doses will drain you too much.

I'm the "Green" type personality, like most nerds probably are, so I thrive off of success and accomplishments. This drug helps me get those done, which in turn makes me a happier person.

I make sure to not get addicted to caffeine since that seems to causes all the bad side effects due to the high doses, and the fact that it depletes neurotransmitters (which causes the greatest benefit to be lost).

I can't wait till they find a drug that has all the cognitive benefits of caffeine, but without any of the side effects.
