It's nice to see somebody else out there that sees things in the same direction as my thoughts. I don't go as far to say it was a "god" that wrote the bible, as I simply haven't learned enough to come to such a grand conclusion.
But yeah, whomever was invloved with the writing of this bible, was an incredible prophet.
The way I see it, is if there truly is a god and a heaven, I'm open minded enough that if god wanted me to believe, I will be a believer before I die. And hey, if all that jazz about destiny is real, then all I have to do is ride the rollercoaster, right?
"MIPI obtained an Anton Pilar order ? which allows a copyright holder to enter a premises to search for and seize material that breaches copyright without alerting the target through court proceedings ? yesterday from Justice Murray Wilcox, and began raiding premises in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria this morning searching for documents and electronic evidence to support its case against the peer-to-peer companies."
Fully automatic - the bread lowers itself automatically, and comes up at the perfect toastiness. I saw a '65 era model that had been used in the same kitchen day in and day out. My jaw dropped when I saw the toast literally flow into the toasting area. The movement is so smooth, it almost brought a tear to my eye. Then when I saw it silently and slowly advance up into the real world, with a perfect toast job, i abou... Whoa, I need to get out of this room. Here's a link for more information. This is really the best toaster one can buy.
I imagine you would need to be fairly close to the police car to detect it, enough to where you would have already been clocked. However, you could easily detect a transmission and get a rough estimate of how close the vehicle is by how strong the signal is. Problem is, they don't just sit there and chat away, making your chances of detecting one before getting radared pretty slim.
Combines the older and much better WMP 6.4 interface and the capability to play Real Media, Windows Media, and Quicktime. It works extremely well, I highly recommend getting it.
I just turned up the contrast on the JPEG for kicks, and what interests me, is the fact that the shadow side of the earth becomes visible. Maybe it could be due to refraction of light in the atmosphere or actual city lights (could it?) but I don't know enough about optics and light to answer that.
Also, somebody said something about the original grayscale GIF right from the camera being available. I couldn't find it but if anybody else has it, please post a link.
I bet most of what you see are compression artifacts. I just turned up the contrast on the JPEG for kicks, and what interests me, is the fact that the shadow side of the earth becomes visible. Maybe it could be due to refraction of light in the atmosphere or actual city lights (could it?) but I don't know enough about optics and light to answer that. At least jpeg compression could be ruled out.

That's a good story... the best part, however, was when the newspaper reporter got back at the gonad:
Ralsky agreed to this interview and the tour of his operation only if I promised not to print the address of his new home, which I found in Oakland County real estate records.
He didn't actually print the address, but he made it damn easy to find...
I still have to take breaks while doing long keyboarding sessions, but that keyboard saved my career. I like it so much I bought one for home. I can't recommend it enough for the serious typist.
I would liken the keyboard to keys shaped along the inside of a bra... and that always helps when I'm typing away.:)
The keyboard may have saved your career but it doesn't seem to be doing much for your social life...

Holy run-on sentence, Batman! Jeez...

*BANG* Hear that sound? That's the sound of 0x0d0a hitting the nail square in the head. I want to shake your hand, sir, as that was f*cking dead on.
That's it, I'm moving to Canada.
And check out the Quicktime VR. You can clearly see the walls of the set. Pretty small room too. Must be the budget cuts.
Whats the point to immortality if you have to start over from the beginning as a new person (albeit with the same genes)
Zing!!
Key word there: was

In Washington state we are allowed to sue for up to $500.00 per spam.
Actually, it's not up to $500, but exactly $500, or actual damages - whichever is greater.
See here.

Thank you!! I was trying to remember which game it was for me and you hit it dead on. Same part and everything!

If only they made games that trained me how to invest like Warren Buffet, instead of behave like a fucking maniac, I'd be set.
And here you go.
Stalin meets KGB team for tea?
Didn't think so... I better go to bed.
No, you were right: Check out Ping!
Last time I was there, I came out with a massager and a squeaky rubber duck.. :)
Oh god, I don't even want to know what those were for.
Maybe you should try changing your E-mail Address...
