What?!? You're are actually expecting children to be raised by parents? That is, so not the typical cradle-to-grave, have momma gov't take care of me mentality that seems to florish in this country anymore. All kidding aside, you are right on the money. Most of these problems could be taken care of by parents acting like parents rather than their children's friend. The Columbine tragedy could have been avoided by parents parenting and knowing what their children are doing and who they are doing it with and what is going on in their lives.

This "bug" may be intentional. Microsoft has not issued an urgent patch for this, so that may be telling. If this was intentional, it may have been because the RIAA have pressured MS to corrupt/destroy music files. I suspect that there are people who put their music files on compressed drives, or that might be what MS/RIAA assumes of the users/thieves.

I, for one, have 'paid' for all the music that I possess and and don't put it on compressed drives, then again 12" 33rpm disks don't fit in my computer either.

The US sends tons of food to areas of the world where the people need it. However, the food doesn't get to much of those people as the local governments restrict the food to the people to retain their control of them. If the people are fed they have energy, if they have energy they can rebel, if they can rebel they will overthrow those who are keeping them impoverished. I know that is fairly simplistic, but the facts don't veer far from my synopsis.

Will the MPAA go after me now since I have admitted censoring their movies to my children? Let's hear it for "Fair Use", oh yeah, the MPAA/RIAA and some courts don't believe in it.

Normal average government workers should NOT be redacting, the people who redact should be those who know that if they screw-up, they may be screwing themselves or good friends in the process. Have people do it(redact) who have something to lose.
