    Maybe even Firefox people are somewhat confused about their name. Selecting about Mozilla Firefox in my Win32 box, I get "About Firefox 0.8" with a Firebird logo in it!!!

    Your comment reminds me about the governement position about trangenics, here in Brazil. No one has proved (yet) these plants are unsafe, but our governement wants studies showing they're safe (!unsafe != safe).
    Stupid bureaucracy. Lets profit first. When something wrong happens we started to care about. If we were afraid of using new technology we would still not using the wheel.

    Yeah, people who live outside US and Europe can afford many luxuries for sure.
    I work on the development of software for Telcom in a Brazilian company using J2EE framework. Some of our software is exported, but they pay us U$12,000 a year with no benefits, whatover. Its less than U$7/hour. With that payment one cannot afford luxuries, even in Brazil. A cheap computer, for instance, costs about U$1000, a cheap car U$10000.
    If some company decided to outsorce its operations to Brazil, I suppose they could pay us better salaries. Thats what you call overpayment sure. I call it, a dign salary.

    Think about the questions that go through the minds of the security people: Today it was the loading dock but what will it be tomorrow? The new X-Box, our development lab? Photos of company-proprietary memos? Why is the guy wandering around the campus taking pictures with a digital camera?

    Think about it! With M$ security problems as far as they go maybe someone will be able to even leak a LongHorm alpha or a Halloween memo, or worse a security whole for a new worm!
