    Adding to this,

It could be a windows auto-update drivers issue. You will need to disable auto-update drivers and uninstall and reinstall stable drivers (this can be hard as you need to back trace updated drivers).

If all else fail, I blame it on windows auto-updates. Download a full copy of the AE windows 10 and install it on a separate hard drive. After startup, let it stay idle for 10mins. Everything should works, but just remember which patch or driver windows updated afterward (or disable auto-update drivers just in case).

It doesn't make any sense for "children as young as seven..." to access internet chat and runs back to mommy for being bullied when they don't even know the difference between an online game vs an offline game (you sure it wasn't Wario bullying you?).

If you really want your kids to have an iPhone or whatever to access internet, be damn if they dropped it but at least limit the websites to only a few. If they learn to unblock other websites, then it's on their own.

This just tells me an increase of "88 percent over five years" of incompetence parents dealing with kids.

"Why Are American Tech Workers Paid So Well?"

First thing, this is a subjective question, so I could compare it to anyone / anything including because he is under 30's, geeky, looks smart or people suck at computers / buggy software.

But if your question is why American Tech Workers get paid so well 'compare to' offshore Tech Workers, then that's a specific question that can be answered with specific explanations.

The reason for that is due to supply and demand. There are employers that demand for higher paid competence American Tech Workers, who know they will ensure company productivity and security is at prior. Also, there are demand for just some cheap random Tech Workers to fill holes. Part of the reason for those cheap demand is Tech Workers to some employers are like wizard / doctor, where those employers never understand exactly what they are doing (black magic or potion making?) Those employers are also short sighted, that can only learn after a terrible breach and they do not value/hire higher paid competence American Tech Workers.

  25. UBI will be like the great depression soup kitchen. It will be the minimum to live. It will also be more or less worth less than a penny today after automation. Unfortunately, UBI will not help the economic. It will only keep people alive a little longer.

The bigger problem is how automation unlike previous technology will not only replace the lower class, but a large amount of middle class. Previous technology replaces the lower class, leaving them to die (the old, sick and young first as survival of the fittest) or live with pennies (like earning UBI). This time middle class people that had a job will be left to die or to live with pennies too. For once, the farmers, fishermen and other self-life sustained jobs will be better off (you eat what you got), if global warning hasn't kill those jobs off.

If the system of automation happened too fast, we'll be in another great depression, which depends on who stepped up at the right time gain power as a new dictator, fascist, or communist government. If it happens slower, we'll be in a depression with some middle class being able to adopt the new system of automation.

Yes, there will be jobs, just not the same in types or amount. Someone has to maintain each automation or AI and further research. Especially when self-learning AI is not perfect (try having cortana that can maintain ms windows from buggy patches and keep improving security and avoid virus...that's like a while loop that is looping to find the statement false). The only time there will be no job is when the world stopped from trading/buying. As long as the riches still spends, there will be jobs.

Nonetheless, for once the bell curve will shift so much that our today's high class jobs like doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, etc. will be gone with plenty of us unprepared. The rules and laws that were set for us until that day will be rendered useless for the future of automation. Only those that have the value in the age of automation can pass onward. UBI wouldn't help much here.
