Did you really check some of them out? That's awesome!
I don't know what's being played on the radio these days, or what's considered popular by most people, but every year there's new music produced that I get excited about.
You may already know about this site, but if not, it's a great way to sample the music that is currently generating interest/buzz/love in the mp3-blog world.
I'm so tired of the 'there's no good music anymore' meme. It just means you're not paying attention any more...

A pair of Old Navy khakis, a pair of rockport walking shoes, and a decent button down shirt is not a difficult ensemble to throw together and it looks more stylish than jeans and a t-shirt.
But the thing thing is, that's not more stylish than a pair of designer jeans, a t-shirt from Threadless and a some limited edition Nike AF1s; what you're describing is just the generic blue button-down and khaki clone that women find (and hate) in every after-work bar in existence.
If you're selling yourself in college, a point in your life where you basically have no responsibilities other than to yourself, please do everyone a favor and fucking kill yourself.

I agree that this season has been better than recent ones. One thing I found interesting was the season finale, when Bart and Homer converted to Catholicism... beyond being the best episode of the year, IMHO, it was the first episode I have ever seen them take a crack at Bush:
Marge: Bart, I love you, but sometimes I don't love your choices. (sigh) Now we have to find another school for you.
Homer: Yeah, and if you get kicked out of that one you're going straight in the army where you'll be sent straight to America's latest military quagmire. Where will it be? North Korea? Iran? Anything's possible with Commander Cuckoo-Bananas in charge.
If you remember, Clinton was constantly the butt of jokes on the show, and even appeared as a character on several episodes, but this was the first time since Bush was pres that they made a joke about him, and it was still somewhat indirect (he wasn't mentioned by name).
Just something I find curious. I mean, it's not as though GW isn't ripe for parody.
when was the last time you bought clothes that were 100 percent made in the US, with US-sourced materials?
American Apparel makes fantsatic t-shirts here in the US (LA to be specific).
Although I don't know where they get their source material (they'd probably mention it if it was US-sourced, but I couldn't find mention of it anywhere on their site).
Most non-US residents don't understand that "World Series" is a reference to the newspaper that sponsored the series not a claim to world domination.
Not according to this:
A persistent myth is that the "World" in "World Series" came about because the New York World newspaper sponsored it. Baseball researcher Doug Pappas refutes that claim, demonstrating a linear progression from the phrase "World's Championship Series" (used to describe the 1903 series) to "World's Series" to "World Series". Furthermore, investigation of the New York World for the relevant years revealed no evidence of the supposed sponsorship. (For details, see Mr. Pappas's web page on the subject (http://roadsidephotos.com/baseball/name.htm)).
If you don't mind having earphones shoved way into your ear canals, these are great.
They don't have actualy noise-canceling abilities, but they go a long way to block outside noise, and they have a longer cord for the right bud so you can wear them behind your neck.

"I was supposed to die in France....I never even saw France."
We're people dammit, we have feelings!
The original reason behind the song having been long forgotten as the new system will make fare increases easier and no doubt more frequent.
He also did the joke in The Aristocrats as Walken to hilarious effect.

I hate myself for knowing that.

A sarcasm sensor? Oh, that's a REAL useful brain function.
The two companies have virtually nothing to do with each other.
Perhaps the requirement came about because Office is the software you will most likely use in the workplace.
