That is what I have always said. It is something that is completely unneeded. And it serves no purpose except for government hacks to rant so as to control the people, and of course for the most sacred of all cows: advertisers. Marketing is a very unnecessary profession, like lawyer and politician.
They have lost their momentum. They used to make great products that just worked. Perfectly. They have been living on that reputation and it's about over.
I just hope Microsoft doesn't screw it up. They have this tendency to release good version/bad version of Windows since they flopped with Vista after XP. Windows 8 was a similar flop after the great Windows 7.
I still think of them as 9. I don't recognize the authority of an arbitrary body to vote Pluto to not be a planet when it was such for most of a century.

Software bloat is the biggest problem in IT. Windows should not be anywhere near 7GB IN TOTAL not just for am update.

I have been dealing with Telcoms for decades now and this has always been my experience.
When will the xAA finally have enough of our money? Of course the answer to that question is NEVER.

This is one reason why they have sucked for the past year. They used to be for the users. Now they are for the advertiser.

As an American IT pro, I don't much like India for obvious reasons. But this is the right thing to do.
