Am I the only one who doesn't really see this as a problem? I've never been in the situation where I'm watching something on youtube, and am suddenly interrupted by a stream of moronic comments. Frankly, I treat youtube as a novelty. An enormous narcissistic portrait of (primarily) white, middle class people. It's fun to watch, but if you're using it for any serious data, you're crazy.
This is an interesting idea, although part of me really cringes at the notion that we're implementing a device that's designed to IMPEDE communication on a site whose stated goal is: "Broadcast Yourself"
It will be interesting to follow usage patterns, but what I most fear is that this becomes a norm, and sites like slashdot receive less feedback due to the sheer amount of time required to listen to each commenter's post.

How exactly could this be evidence of back legs? The article is pretty light on details. It seems more likely that an extra set of fins would be moving dolphin evolution forward. e.g., having a extra set of fins may allow the dolphin to swim faster, navigate better, etc. The article doesn't mention if the dolphin can use (move) the fins.

With Apple and Intel working together now we're sure to (eventually) see some products that Intel wouldn't have developed on their own.

I was at American University (D.C.) this summer. They haven't banned BT but I did get a friendly call from the network admin after I left several torrents running overnight.
I have an Edirol UM-1S. It was ~45 at the music store. I bought it for two reasons. 1. It was readily available at the music store. 2. The Edirol website offers panther drivers. Also keep in mind if you buy from a local music store, they'll usually cut you a deal. I got a midi cable with my converter and the guy gave me the cable for about 80% off.
How is this bad for choice? Yes there is only one music player that can play Apple's Music Store files, but everyone has the CHOICE not to buy from the Apple Music Store. There are many music players that support the WMA format, most at a lower price point.

forces. If anyone has run a beta release of 10.3, they've seen a very
early build of the app that these groups have produced. Think finkcommander
